I woke up from sweating, then I noticed, I was still in Logan's jacket. I wanted to stay in bed, but it was time for me to get up anyway.

"Taryn, Alexia, time to get ready for school." I said turning on the lights.

"Kacey, would you do my make up this morning?"

"I promised I would. But get ready first." I said putting on jeans and Logan’s jacket.

I didn't feel like looking pretty today. No make up, no nice clothes, nothing special done with my hair. Just jeans, workout t-shirt, and my hair up. When I wore Logan‘s jacket, it seemed as if he were actually with me, with his arms around me. It was so much more than just some jacket.

"That’s Logan's isn't it?" Alexia pointed out.

"Maybe. But sit down." I demanded as I opened my make up bag.

I put some nice, light eye shadow, and a little bit of mascara. You could barely see that she was wearing make up but you could tell there was something there.

"There, open your eyes." I said and gave here a mirror.

"Wow. I look pretty."

"You always do." I smiled and kissed her head. "Taryn you ready!?"

"Yeah!" She yelled from the bathroom. "Kacey, I love Logan, do you love him?"

I was a little surprised to what she asked. I didn't know how to answer that.

"Umm...you know, I don't know. I don't think I love him yet, more like really like." I smiled at her as I touched her precious, tiny nose.

She laughed as we were on our way out the door. I could sense that today was going to be great. Being in his jacket I felt fearless, like I could do anything.

"Bye Kacey." Alexia said with a big smile.

Driving to school, I was happy to see Logan today. A lot of people gave me weird looks because I was wearing Logan’s jacket, but wearing it made me feel powerful, so I didn't care what people said about me.

"So Kacey." Brittany, one of the mean girls said to me. "I hear you finally got a boyfriend."

"Yeah, and your point is..?"

"Who knew you could find someone who actually likes you."

"Not me, but it happened, and look at me, I'm happy." I proudly said and walked away.

I would never say that or anything before I met Logan. I would have never felt so happy if I hadn’t met him. He was making the shy, lonely girl go away, and bringing out the bright, talkative, happy girl I always was.

After my parents died, I told myself I wouldn't be the same because my parents were what made me happy. They were what made me become a smart girl. But with Logan, he had taught me to be my real self. He had taught me how to be happy again.

I still hadn't seen Logan at all today and I started to become really worried. I didn't see him yesterday and now today. I just hoped he was safe, wherever he was.

"Sorry Mrs. Keller for not showing up yesterday, I was caught up at work." I said.

"No problem. Since you're doing so great in my class, I'm going to give you an A."

"But I didn't finish the study guide worksheets, or do the essay that is due today."

"Don't worry about the essay, I'll just give extra credit to those who did it. It won't count against your grade."
