● Semi Eita : I Did Love You

You were walking up a hilly road on a sunny day when you felt the breeze coming in. You suddenly measured how long ago it's been since you took that road. With a sigh, you realize that it's already been 9 years. It was ever since you graduated from high school and left for college. Now you're already working a salary job and the only thing that brought you back was a very special event.

You were enjoying the breeze when you heard a familiar voice calling to you from a gate that you were far to familiar with.

"F/N-chan!" a red haired boy with one hand in his pocket waved at you from the gates of Shiratorizawa Academy.
A smile lit on your face as you waved back. He's someone you haven't seen since you graduated. You almost couldn't recognize him because his spiked hair was now down and combed to the side.

"Oi, Tendou!" you smacked the side of his arm when you got to him. You were very close to Tendou, in fact, you were very close to all the third years of Shiratorizawa's boy's volleyball team. You all entered high school together and because you weirdly befriended Tendou, he made you friends with everyone else.

He only chuckle at your way of greeting him and pulled you in for a hug. "That bastard gets to do this everyday!" You hear him whined as he tightens the hug.

You pat his back and gave him a squeeze as well. "Who told you to go to a different university."

After the reunion hug you two walk back together. It was pretty late and you didn't realize until Tendou places his blazer over you.

"Gotta protect my friend's girlfriend," he teased and you elbowed his side. You two broke a small laugh before it went silent again.

"Can you believe how old we are already," Tendou spoke his mind as he looked at the stars.

"Too old," you added with a smile.

"I still can't believe that SemiSemi will be the first to get married..." Tendou said and tried to laugh it off. "But thanks to him we'll all get to meet again after 9 years..."

"Yeah," you nod with a smile that was harder to pull off. "Heard you're the best man!"

Tendou elbow you this time and you two laughed.

"He said he wanted you to take the pictures," he raised his hands to the back of his head to relax. "That asshole also asked you to be a bridesmaid, right?" Tendou suddenly placed a hand on your shoulders knowing he's there for you.

You got to your parents home that was empty. Your parents have moved to Tokyo not long after you graduated college. They kept the house for vacations and visits. You walked around clearing the sheets from the furniture. You get to your bed and changed your bed sheets. While doing so, a letter fell out from between the two stacked beds. You picked it up and saw that it was a letter to Semi from your freshman year. Unopened because it didn't look like you ever got a chance to give it to​ Semi. Semi had a serious and stoic expression, but he was him. Yes, you love Semi. NO, you ​lovED. He was always kind and sometimes awkwardly funny. That's what made you fell in love with him at first too. You loved how he would only show you his nervous and emotional sides. But it didn't matter how much you chased him, he always felt so far away. You two even went to different universities after high school.
You threw the letter out and suddenly got a call. A natural smile came on your face as you take the call.

It was the night before the wedding and almost everyone from the volleyball team was at a restaurant catching up. Everyone was happy to see each other again that a few drinks became a few bottles. You were still pretty sober by the end, but your best friend Tendou wasn't. You figured since your house was near, you'll drag him there for the night. But of course you can't carry him alone. In the end the only other sort of sober person helped you carried him home. SEMI. He didn't offer help, instead he just carried Tendou while following you. The three of you got to your home and Semi dumps Tendou onto your bed. Semi was going to leave, but see's your bridesmaid dress hanging on your closet door.
