Maggie's p.o.v.
The weekend at Matty's had come to an end when the light of Monday morning crept through the windows of his apartment. I wasn't necessarily dreading the thought of attending classes, but I surely was not excited to go. After long minutes of contemplating staying in bed, wrapped in Matty's touch all day, I decided it was best to attend my college courses.
It took all but five minutes to wake up the sleeping boy next to me. He tried everything up his sleeve to get me to skip classes again, but my mind was already made. Although it took longer than necessary, I managed to get myself and Matty dressed and out of the door on time.
Matty took the liberty of driving, and walking me to my first class, where I shyly thanked him as we parted with a quick kiss to my cheek. I could tell he was new to this relationship thing, and I found it quite adorable how he was unsure of what to do. The way he let out an awkward laugh and ran his hand through his curls was stuck in my mind, prohibiting me from concentrating in the next two classes.

I make my way to my final class of the day, and the only thing I seem to be able to focus on is seeing Matty.
I push through the familiar doors and sure enough, I spot the boy himself sitting in his usual seat. I suppress my excited grin and trade it in for a casual smile as I make my way to Matty's chair. It takes him a few seconds to notice my arrival and he quickly meets my eyes, greeting me with a smirk on his face.
"M'lady." He muses, gesturing his hand to the seat next to him.
"Thank you, kind sir." I play along, adding a small courtesy before sliding into the empty chair.
He lets a deep chuckle slip from his lips before asking, "How were classes so far?"
I don't get the chance to answer as a short figure with dirty blonde hair stops in front of me.
"And where have you been young lady?" A familiar voice rings.
My eyes meet those of the person before me and I instantly sink further into my seat.
"Mia," I say apologetically.
"No call, no text, nothing?" Her voice rises with every word, "You skip classes Friday and have me worried sick! Your dorm was locked and you were nowhere to be seen! I thought you were dead for Christ's sake!" She stops, only to notice the boy next to me.
His deep laughter interrupts Mia's scolding, causing her to silence. I give a lethal glare in Matty's direction and slap his arm lightly in an attempt to stop his laughing.
"You," Mia sethes with venom. "You've gone and kidnapped her from me haven't you? Well news flash Healy, I saw her first, therefore she belongs to me."
It is my turn to laugh now.
"Mia calm down." Her attention is back to me. "I'm sorry I didn't text you, a lot has happened." Matty's hand snakes it way to mine, taking it in his palm squeezing it gently. His actions to comfort me warm my heart, him knowing exactly what I'm referring to. This doesn't stop Mia from throwing a venomous glare at our connected limbs.
"Forgive me for kidnapping your friend, I just couldn't help myself." Matty laughs with amusement clear in his tone.
"Well, since I'm such a nice person. I will overlook this whole thing on one condition." Mia says with a smirk creeping onto her lips. Oh God.
"And what is that condition?" I ask with curiosity and caution mixed.
"If you go out with me tonight, and spill everything that I missed."
