Down by Marian Hill (when they're dancing)
I Don't Wanna Live Forever by Zayn and Taylor Swift. (Bathroom)Yuhh.

Mia's hand pulls me blindly into a sea of moving bodies, every last one of them flowing with the beat of the music. The blaring of the bass pounds throughout the room. Vibrations are felt throughout the floor. The unfamiliar beat pulses throughout my body and the addictive rhythm is easily stuck in my head.
My eyes find Mia before me, dancing as if it were her last chance to. I can't help envying the way her body moves- so in sync. So freely. I remember this same situation the night of my first-amd hopefully last- college party. Her hips sway from side to side with little to no effort shown. The way the rest of her body follows her hip's lead is purely instinctual. Her long, dirty blonde hair flies all around her as her head moves is rhythm with the beat.
"Why are you just standing there?" She yells over the music. I hadn't realized how glued to the floor my heels were until now.
She takes the liberty of grabbing my wrist and hauling me towards her. I try my hardest not to fall as she yanks me her direction, barely managing a small stumble. I stand still as her hands grab onto my dress clad hips. Slowly, she begins to sway them manually to the beat of the blaring music.
With her help I keep the rhythm going, moving my hips more rapidly and freely. A light feeling surges through me as I close my eyes and let my body loose control. Weather it's the music, the alcohol, or a combination of both, a blissful wave washes over me.
Speaking of waves, washing, and other things liquid,
"Hey I need the bathroom." I lean in a bit, yelling towards Mia.
"Cool, I'll come with!" She cheers a little to enthusiastically.
With that, we make our way towards the restrooms with me leading the way. I instantly spot the stick figure with a dress nailed on the door indicating the women's restroom. I push through the door expecting a line of drunk girls on the brink of bursting their bladders lined up to the door. But instead, I am greeted with an four empty stalls and two vacant sinks.
I choose the closest stall and hurry to empty my alcohol filled bladder. The sweet feeling of release causes a smile to meet my lips as I take care of my business. I quickly finish and adjust my dress before heading out.
I open the stall door to find Mia checking her makeup in the mirror. I walk up next to her at the sink and before washing my hands, decide to say sonething in an attempt to ease her worries.
"You don't even need to look Mia, you look perfect. Just like you always do." I smile at my kind words. I'm quite surprised I managed such a compliment with this venomous alcohol in my system.
"Awh thanks Maggie." She giggles a bit. Drunk Mia. "You, um," she starts but doesn't seem to know how to finish.
"What?" I eye her wide smile suspiciously.
"I have a secret." She attempts to whisper, but her voice comes out louder than hoped.
"Oh, yea?" I egg her on.
"C'mere." She waves me over like a toddler to whisper it in my ear. Even though there is no real point in whispering, I'll play along if that means she'll tell me.
I did as I was told and got closer, standing right in front of her and leaning my ear in. I lightly feel her hands go to my hips and I don't deny her the right to balance herself using my body. Her cheek brushes against mine as she nears my ear. I wait patiently for her words, knowing we both had a bit to drink, causing us to slow down a bit.
Instead of words, something else is felt at my ear. Tongue. Mia's tongue slyly licks at my earlobe a bit before drunk words are breathed into my system.
"I like you."
I am frozen still as her lips linger, tracing their way along my jaw in a slow yet eager manner. Her lips are less than an inch away. My eyes widen in shock as she connects her lips to mine. My mind can't process any of this, and my body is having trouble reacting. What the hell is happening? My heart is beating out of control and I'm sure I can hear it ringing in my ears. My mind tries fighting it's instinct to kiss back with all its might as I stand here frozen still. In complete and utter shock. Her head angles itself to the side, as she attempts to deepen the kiss by opening her lips and mine in the process. I felt the tip of her tongue slip past me and at that moment I lost it. My mind is going crazy, and my body decides to do the unthinkiable. My instincts betray me as I begin to kiss her back. Her soft, small lips far different from what I was used to. Far different from Matty.
As soon as his name came across my mind, everything became clear. As quickly as I could, I pulled away from Mia, pushing her body away to put space between us. Still a little unresponsive, I hold onto the sink for support to help with my slightly drunken state. I try to gather myself. Try to make sense of everything that just happened. She kissed me. This was her. This was all her. I was confused and drunk.
"What was that?" I question her, finally finding my voice. Mia's breathing comes out irregular. Her fingers rest against her now pink lips as if she's still reminiscing the kiss. "Are you going to answer me?" I raise my voice a bit in frustration. I need an explanation.
"I really like you." Is all she manages to say.
It's far too late. My chest is already consumed with guilt. I have leave. Now.
I have to see Matty.
