We start heading to the infirmary when we see a helicopter coming to land on the grass outside the yard fence. Running across the land is Dr Tancredi, a few officers and John who is led down on a stretcher.

All of us jog up to the fence to see what is going on and instantly we notice that Abruzzi is covered in blood and his neck is being applied with pressure as they run.

They load him into the aircraft and then quickly fly away leaving the two doctors and officers on the ground covered in blood.

"And then there was seven." T-Bag says, not fazed by the scene we just witnessed.

"As far as I know it's six." C-Note replies, obviously talking about the incident that took place with Lincoln. Michael and I glare at them both before he spins me round and meet Katie Welch - my new nurse - at the gate.

"Come on Olivia, let's get you cleaned up." She takes my arm in support and tells Mike to stay in the yard as an officer starts to lock the gate again. "What happened to you?"

"Lincoln accidentally did it, he's just been taken to the shu." I inform her, Katie is really lovely and a great Nurse. I trust her a lot more than I ever trusted Sara, she looks how a nurse should look, warm, comforting, kind, supportive.

She walks me up to the infirmary and sits me on one of the beds before busying around grabbing cotton balls water and a collection of other items. "You're friendly with Burrows?" She asks as she starts to clean up the blood and attempt to plug the heavy flow.

"Yeah." I reply very simply. What else should I say?

"How do you feel about his execution?"

"I don't mean to be rude, but I really don't want to talk about it." I tell her, she pauses gently before answering.

"That's understandable, however, I find that talking is the greatest cure." She says before applying a strip over my broken nose and handing me an ice pack. "That should help with the swelling."

"Thanks." My voice has turned nasally and blocked sounding, I push the ice onto my face instantly feeling the relief of pain next to the tablets she's already given me.

"I'm going to keep you in here for the night see how you do, there is a slight chance of concussion."

"Okay." I reply and lie back on the bed ready to fall asleep as I have suddenly become very drowsy.

The infirmary seems to be particularly packed today so Dr Tancredi and Katie are working in very close proximity. I drift in and out of sleep all morning and the next time I am awoken Michael is entering the room to be cleaned up. There is a very precise cut on his arm that seems to fit with a line in his tattoo. Part of the plan no doubt.

"Hey." I whisper groggily from just waking up. He walks over and softly placed his hand on my hand pushing little bits of hair back and stroking me with his thumb.

"Hey." He repeats back to me. "How are you holding up?"

"I'm okay. Have you spoken to Lincoln?" I ask, concerned about his well being more than my own right now.

"No." I sigh deeply almost in defeat. "But he should be getting a message from me and be coming up here not so long from now. Let's just hope that he's put in this room." He says patting the hard bed lightly with his hand. He can't say anymore as Sara walks into the room and starts to clean his wound.

"Feels like you've been the clean up crew for me, the whole time I've been in here." He says to her as she winds a bandage around his arm. "Toes, consutions, insulin shots."

"Well somebodies gotta do it." She replies sounding almost bored.

"Well, I am grateful." He pauses for a moment. "Do you ever think, in another life..."
