"Hey, that's looking good." Warden says entering the room where Michael and I are constructing the temple for his wife's anniversary. "You're making some real progress."
"Well the plaster adds a lot of weight we may have to add reinforcements." Michael tells him.
"Whatever it takes as long as you get it done in time for the anniversary."
"It will be done." I promise him, handing him the top section to hold so we can work on the inside. "Can you hold this please." He takes it from me and watches us fascinated.
"You know, the Shah Ioved his Taj so much that he buiIt another tempIe just Iike it on the other side of the river." The Warden tells us. It was an absolute mirror image. Except it was darker, it was Iike a bIack Taj MahaI."
"I've never heard of it." Michael replies.
"Well, that's 'cause it was never completed. He was overthrown by his favorite son before he couId finish it."
"It sounds like a myth." I say.
"No it's one hundred percent true." Pope replies. "I think." He laughs. I smile fondly at him.
"Excuse me Warden." Becky the secretary opens the door. "Dr Tancredi is here to see you."
"Thank you." Warden replies and leads us out of the office. "Please escort Mr and Mrs Scofield back to their cell." He laughs at his own joke again. "I mean Miss Granges." He corrects. I smile at the ground and Sara looks awkwardly at the two of us.
Back in our cell Michael is drawing random lines on a piece of papers then screwing it up and starting again and repeating constantly. "What are you doing?" I ask.
"I'm trying to remember those blueprints that we lost to the burn without them we'll never be able to navigate the pipes beneath the psyc ward." He replies.
"Any luck?"
"No. I spent a lot of time studying those blueprints, tracing them night after night, considering every possible route to the infirmary. It's like trying to take a test you studied for ten years ago."
Bellick calls for P.I before we can try anything to jog his memory so we head down the stairs and toward the exit. I spot a new transgender inmate wearing an obscene amount of makeup and her panties hanging over the top of her trousers.
"How they get like that I have no idea." I say to T-Bag who's in front of me.
"I do, tugging on too many pockets." He replies.
"She tug on your pocket?" I ask sarcastically.
"I may be social, but that's a boundary line even I won't cross."
"Wow, you have boundaries? Who knew?" I joke and he laughs a little bit. I guess everyone's getting used to me being around and not being allowed to touch me, Scofields orders.
Inside the guards room Michael continues to try and draw out the map. "I don't get it." Sucre says. "Why not just go down there again?"
"Because one I don't have the guards uniform anymore which means I can't get across the yard and passed the orderly and two even if I did it's a mess down there. I need this." Mike replies.
"Do you think you're going to remember it?" Sucre keeps pushing.
"Not with you hounding me." Michael says very rudely. I glare at him and tug Sucre's sleeve.
