THIS IS WHERE THINGS BEGIN! I'M HONESTLY FREAKING OUT. IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE IT YET THEN PLEASE GO CHECK THE NEW CAST AND TELL ME HOW YOU FEEL ABOUT THE STORY AND THE CAST CHANGES. THANK YOU VERY MUCH
She looked at both dresses. The first one was a royal blue and clung tight to her figure. The second one was a dark green and light but looked too simple in her opinion.
For the life of her she couldn't remember the colors they'd chosen for the wedding, ending up putting on the blue one.
As she did her makeup she thought of the stupidity of where she was going to sit. The bride's side. How come? She met Sebastian first! Sure, her and Aria had definitely gotten very close but to the point of sitting on her side? She chuckled as she applied her pale lipstick.
She shoved her feet into a pair of silver high heels and grabbed her clutch.
Weddings were not her thing. At all.
Her only thought during the walk towards the church (she booked a room nearby the church, not feeling like driving there) was of how on earth she was going to endure the entire ceremony without getting bored.
No ideas come up.Luckily for her, right at the entrance were Elizabeth and Harry. Holding hands. Internally she freaked, feeling extremely proud of her friend. She knew how hard it had been for her to to think that Harry could be interested, so for her to be here with him, in front of hundreds of guests in bumfuck Spain, was a huge step.
She waved when Lizzie finally noticed her. The older woman made her a motion to join them and she stopped for a few seconds. She wasn't really on the mood to play third wheel but then again it was better than walking in alone.
Elizabeth gave her a tight hug before detaching herself from the younger brunette and going back to holding her boyfriend's hand, who gave her a odd side hug and a kiss to the cheek.
"So, remind me of why Baz and Ria thought it was a good idea to have a summer wedding in Spain? I think I'm melting."
Harry gave her an understanding look and she suddenly realized that he had it worse than her in his black suit. Elizabeth's dress was a light gray and fell to her ankles in a light way.
"When Harry drove us here, the car said that outside were 40° Celsius. Apparently that's 104° Fahrenheit."
Matilda whistled lowly before coming to the conclusion that if inside it was this hot then this wedding would be hell.
"Is it this hot inside?"
Harry shook his head and starting walking up the steps, the two women following him.
"Thank goodness, no. They have air conditioning."
A small prayer crossed her mind.
"Sit with us?"
She quickly nodded and they made their way to the fifth row of seats of the bride's side, starting conversation with yet another Elizabeth, Elizabeth Henstridge.

Ultimately, the best part of most weddings was the dinner thingy, whatever it was called. This one was no different. She was ready to marry the chef. Or the food.
After taking many photos with the newlyweds (that she was sure to buy), she went to check with who she was sitting. It seemed that it was her lucky day. With her were once again, Harry and Lizzie and they were now joined by Paul Rudd (a dear friend of hers) and wife and Renner.
The dinner went by smoothly, until she found herself being dragged to the middle of the room when Aria decided it was time for her to throw the bouquet. The honour of catching it went to a very blushy Natalia Cordova.
Desert came right after and she was at her happiest.
After laughing for an indefinite time during the garter toss, she was now silently watching the couples on the dance floor.
"So, you with the bride or the groom?"
She turned around lazily. He was tall and built, his eyes an extremely beautiful blue and his hair was a light brown, almost a shade of dark blonde.
So was his beard. Maybe it was the light. She offered her hand. He took it, slowly shaking it."Matilda. Bride's."
"Chris. Groom's."She motioned for the chair next to her that had once been occupied by Lizzie, who was now on the dance floor with Harry. He swiftly sat down.
"You're friends with the bride, huh?"
"Actually, I was friends with the groom, but hey, I guess I grew closer to Aria without realizing. You?"He shook his head, taking a sip of his own champagne glass.
"Met the groom first. I dated the bride."
Now, Matilda was a clever girl and they weren't fooling anyone in that wedding, so she went straight for it. After taking a relatively big sip of her champagne glass, of course.
"Evans, we aren't fooling each other. There's no point in pretending I don't know who you are."
The older man boomed in laughter, before turning to her, his eyes sparkling.
"You're right, Edwards. I came to ask if the lady wanted to dance."
She shook her head and watched the disappointment settle in his face.
"No offense to you, Evans, but my feet are killing me. I enjoy sweets or feet massages, if you wanna keep talking."
Chris got up and placed his glass next to hers.
"That chocolate cake looks delicious. I'll go get us some. Be right back."
She watched as he left and took another big sip of champagne.
"Just as I thought."
