MATILDA EDWARDS RETURNS TO THEATERS 2018

Matilda Edwards surprised us all last night when she announced that she'll be joining the cast of Spiderman: Homecoming.

Weeks before the 26 year-old said that this wasn't her kind of gig and we were all certain that she wouldn't be joining. She seemed to change her mind when Downey Jr said that she wouldn't be able to attend his dinners and lunches if she refused. Well, we already knew she loved food a lot, now didn't we?

The singer, designer, dancer, sometimes model and occasionally actress, seemed to have given up on her acting career after her previous movie. We can't blame her, it was a flop.

Matilda was caught leaving a coffee shop nearby Marvel's offices, where she probably went for a meeting.

Another new thing in her life, is Chris Evans' growing presence. We now can't help but think that maybe this is all a set up for publicity.

We keep our previous statement: we can't imagine Matilda playing a BAMF superhero.
