Matilda was starting to move. Her head had been on his shoulder, her hair tickling his neck. Now it had moved to his chest and from that angle he could see how peaceful she looked.

Her lips were pursed, slightly opened, her eyelashes fluttering every so often and goosebumps rising on her skin, either because of the cold air hitting her naked back or because of how his thumb was caressing her back.

He shifted beneath her, using the motion to pull the sheets up. In his defense, silk sheets weren't exactly the kind of sheets he'd expect anyone to have in October.

Chris kept on rubbing her back all the way to his shoulder with his thumb. He chuckled as Matilda's nose twitched in what he found to be a very cute way. She buried her face in his chest and the hand on her back moved to her locks of hair.

Now, looking at her in such calm and peaceful state, he realized that she looked more beautiful than ever.

What Sebastian informed him of came to mind. There was no point in pretending that this had never happened if everyone already knew of it.

Matilda moved again, this time waking up and lifting her head. His hand moved from her hair to her arm.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty."

She rubbed her eyes lazily with the palms of her hands, before falling onto his chest again, her voice coming out muffled.

"Mornin'"

He started looking for his clothes. They were scattered allover the room and he sighed, ready to be kicked out.

"Wha time 's it?"
"11."

She groaned, rolling off of him.

"Is this when you kick me out?"

Matilda sat up quickly, her eyes widening, her hands grabbing the sheet and pulling it to her chest, covering her breasts, searching for some modesty.

"No... This is when I tell you to go make breakfast, because honestly, you make it much better than me."

Chris smiled at her, planting a kiss on her cheek. Then, he remembered that she lived with her family.

"Aren't your parents and brothers home?"

She snorted.

"On a Monday at eleven? No way. You're safe.

"Great."

Matilda appreciated the sight of him getting out of bed and putting on his boxers only before leaving the room.

She sighed before grabbing her pillow and going back to sleep.
