stop lying to me

Why does everyone lie to me?

They tell me it'll be okay and that there's more to look for-

That I just have to wait until I grow up.

The truth is that it'll never get better and that everyone needs to stop lying.

Things get worse and more responsibility comes upon me.

Why does everyone want to lie?

Is it because they see something in me?

Is it because they recognize themselves in me?

Is it because life lies to us and turned around and slapped us in the face?

There's so many things I can do but I'm useless.

Everyone ignores me and I'm useless.

Panic is the only option now as I turn to art as my life saver.

And then what becomes of me

I'm going to die one day or another
