I could see god resting in his blue eyes.
It was a day of trial and testimonies, as the gray skies lighten into a soft blue. The plump woman had a baby in her arms, whom was still and unmoving.
She stood when her name was called, cradling his head into the carrier and wrapping him in a soft green blanket. His lithe body began to squirm. His eyes opened.
It was as if the heavens opened up, those eyes full of wisdom yet small and soft kept following my gaze. My body relaxed and my spirit lifted as I watched god watch me.
