Life's path.

Twisted and turned,

Is the path of life,

What you want,

You can't have,

What you had,

Goes wrong,

Gutted and lost,

Still paying the cost,

Of one bitter sweet,

Little heart beat,

Cobbled and cracked,

Is the route of life,

What you expect,

You fall straight through,

What you've learned,

You soon forget,

Holllow and cold,

Sanity trying to keep hold,

This world keeps spinning,

My mouth ever false grinning,

Bizarre and damaged,

Is my past path,

What I've come to find,

Is one step forward,

What I won't do again,

Is one step back,

How can anybody win?

When everything is a sin?

This world of broken trust?

And misdirected lust?

Something worth trying?

Already on the brink of dying?

Something worth saving?

And people are already caving?

How can anyone win,

When everything is a sin.
