A mismatched bunch of broken minds,

Society leaving them all behind,

Lives filled with crime and hate,

How long until they detonate?

When people don’t want bail,

They’d rather fight to stay in jail,

A justice system fit for the cheat,

Why are sentences such a treat?

But, then there’s those misplaced,

Having their whole lives disgraced,

A group of strangers, one conclusion,

The defence leading them to delusion.

It’s meant to be based on the facts,

The home truths of atrocious acts,

So, how do we still get it wrong,

Are the innocent just meant to stay strong?

Injustice, power and stolen time,

Don’t worry, societies doing just fine.
