"Kelsey," Maril said, which felt more like a sob to me.

She stared at me for a while, looking at me like she'd seen a ghost. If those ugly bafoons weren't standing behind me making sure that I didn't move than I would've snapped my fingers, and tried to snap her out of the trance-like state she looked to be in.

"Y—Yo—You're al—alive?" Well that was a weird question coming from my sister. I was here wasn't I. Some people just asked the most obvious yet stupid questions, like my twin. Such a waste of words. But I still humored her.

"Alive and kicking." I grinned back at her, which must've looked weird since I was on my hands and knees. But then my eyes landed on something I did not immediately take notice of when I first saw her; the black design on her face. "Woah, what the hell happened to your face?!" My eyes widened when I took in the beautiful filigree design tattooed on one side of her face. It was gorgeous, and I desperately wanted one just like that. Once we got out of this torture unit, I would ask her where she got the tattoo from.

Instead of answering me, Maril shifted her eyes to the man standing beside her; Severon's twin. Severin Aresco. I swear their parents should've named them differently, this one letter difference was irritating. When I looked at Severin, he was gazing at me like he wanted to kill me. Great he hated me, too. I had no idea why people just started hating me without even getting to know me; first Adone and now him, I needed a change of personality.

"Portarla via e la sua preparazione," Severin commanded to the monkey lot behind me. Immediately, they grabbed my upper arm and dragged me away, the action causing me to hurl all sorts of nonsensical threats at them which they chose to ignore. Idiots. (Take her away and prepare her)

The men dragged me inside a cell which was next to the one where Maril was. I really wanted to take a look around, see where I was, but those robotics minions of flesh proceeded to tie me up without even giving me a chance to breathe. Two of the men raised my arms over my head and slipped a pair of leather cuffs on my wrists. I tested the restraints, trying to see if I could wriggle out of them, but they were tight enough to cut my blood flow.

Another man entered carrying various items which were killing my euphoria of seeing my sister again and replacing it with panic and dread. The man held two baseball bats, two branding pokers with the symbol of scorpion at the end, two leather whips, two knives and two guns. I had no idea why he brought two of everything, I presumed he liked to share or he was keeping the other in case the first one broke.

"Hey, what are those for? Are we gonna play baseball?" I asked the man who placed all the scary looking things on a table.

They ignored me, or maybe they did not understand what I said, either way, I found their lack of response rude as hell. I mean, this Severin had no manners whatsoever. He gave his men orders to tie me up and let me hang from the ceiling, wait till Severon heard about this. I would make sure he gave his twin a piece of his mind; but where in the flying clouds was he? I hadn't seen him since Renzo and Adone brought me here. And speaking of those two, where were they as well? Had they all abandoned me? Mean people.

I screamed when the men tore my clothes, leaving me in nothing but my underwear. Tears pricked my vision but I forced them to stay in the confines of my eyes. Being naked in front of strange men had fear settling in my core, making me wonder what those men were planning to do to me. But I tried my best not to let anyone see my fear.

"Hey, monkey butt, what the hell is wrong with you. Let me go!" I shouted at the one standing in the corner.

"And you, you're so ugly the doctor screamed when he pulled you out of your mother's uterus!" I insulted the one who was standing the closest to me, fixing him with the most disgusting glare I could manage.
