[Justin's Point of View]

Ryan: "You sure you can't hang out with us today?"

Katie: "Yeah, I have loads of homework to do. But I'll you guys tomorrow at school."

Chaz: "Ok. Bye Katie girl"

You: "See ya shawty"

Katie: "Bye, I love you guys."

Us: "We love you too"

She kissed my cheek and hugged Ryan and Chaz. With that, we went our separate ways.

Ryan: "So are we playing Xbox at my house or what?"

You: "Yeah man!"

Exactly what we did for the rest of the day.

It was getting late so I went home and found my mom crying on the living room.

I went to her and sat down next to her.

You: "Mom, what's wrong?"

Mom: "I... it's over... everything's over Justin..."

You: "You mean you and John... (She nodded and broken down again.) It's ok mom. You'll find someone better than him. I promise."

She looked at me.

Mom: "You think so?"

You: "I know so. Plus, I didn't like him much anyway. (She smiled and gave me a hug) I'm just gonna go to Katie's. I haven't seen her since school."

Mom: "Ok, just be careful."

You: "I will"

I kissed her cheek and went out the house.

When I got to Katie's house, I knocked on the door but no-one answered. I turned the door-knob and it was opened. I slowly walked in.

You: "Katie? John? (No answer so I walked further) What the fuck?! (Everything was... gone. The place was empty!)"

I ran up to Katie's room and it was empty too! I was about to go down again, when a piece of paper on the floor caught my eye.

It was a letter. I picked it up and read it.

Hey boys,

I didn't want to leave like this, but I had no other choice... when you read this, I'm probably already in north Carolina. My dad and I had to move over there because he got a new job. And I know it ain't so far from Atlanta but I can't come see you guys no matter how much I want to... you know how my dad is. But I want you to know that you guys are the best thing that ever happened to me, my best friends and I love you with all my heart. And Justin... I know that we just got together but I guess we weren't meant to be. Please don't get me wrong, I really wanna be with you, I really do but... I can't. You'll find a new girlfriend I promise. I hope I can see you again.

I love you, Katie.

The letter slipped from my hand as tears ran down my face.

I fell on my knees and took my phone out. I dialed Katie's number and waited for her to pick up. I'm not giving up on her.

My dad punched me and I fell on the floor. He was just about to punch me again but my phone saved me.
