Chapter 6, Oh Hot Damn Abs

(Sky’s P.O.V)

    On our way back to Max’s camper, I was blushing the whole time. I mean, I kissed Kade! Does he even like me? Maybe he was just did it to save me from Simon. I’m always the one to know what to do in these situations. But since it’s me  and I’m a very complicated person, I have to talk to Max and Cal.

     When we made it back to the camper we all sat inside and turned on a movie. I texted Cal and Max to come outside with me to talk. They nodded after reading their texts and followed me out. Meanwhile the guys were giving each other confused glances.

    Once we made it outside both of the girls turned towards me.

    “What’s up” Cal asked me at the same time as Max said;

     “So you and Kade, huh?”

    I laughed.

    “Calia, Max just answered your question. I don’t know what to do. I mean normally I’m good at this kind of stuff but I don’t know if he likes me. I mean I kissed him and he seemed to like it…but what if I shouldn’t have kissed him? Did I take it too far? WHAT IF HE HAS A GIRLFRIEND!? I-.”

   Max cut me off.

   “My God! Sky! Just shut up, okay! Stop your blabbering. If he didn’t like you then he wouldn’t have   been jealous of Simon, even if he is a perv…” She trailed off.

   I sighed.

  “I guess you’re right.”

  “Do you like him?” Cal asked me, finally deciding to join into the conversation.

  “I-I well so far I do. I mean he’s nice, attractive, smart, funny and he likes my sarcasm.” I smiled at that. “He’s got that smile that makes my heart stop and those abs…I mean damn! He’s pretty hot.”

   They both laughed.

   “Well then I think that all you need to do is talk to him,” Max told me, giving me a knowing look.

   “I agree. I think you’re already falling for him,” Cal added.

    Max laughed.

    “That’s what I wanted to say but I thought it might be awkward,” She mumbled.

   “Thanks guys. I don’t know what I would ever do without you two,” I told them holding in a laugh.

   “We know,” They said in unison.

   We started walking back into the camper, where we could hear the guys talking about a video game.

    Max froze, which caused me to bang into her and Calia to bang into me. We both let out startled cries.

    “What’s wrong?” I asked her.

   She turned around slowly.

   “They just heard every word we said.”

  I froze. So many thoughts were running through my mind.

  “Shit.” I heard Cal mumble. That snapped me out of it. I turned towards her.

  “Did you just swear?” I asked her.

  “Ya. Why? I thought it was a good opportunity,” She said grinning.

  “OH MY GOD! CALIA SWORE!” Max and I yelled as we ran into the camper. All three guys looked up and stared at Cal.

   Alex was the first to react. He got up and walked over to her, took her hand in his  and led her back to the couch. He pulled her down on his lap. When she made a move to get up he held her in place.

   “Alex I weigh too much to be sitting on your lap!” She complained as she tried to get up.

   “Calia! Stop! You’re beautiful and you don’t weigh a lot. Believe me, I would not put you on my lap if I couldn’t hold you,” He told her. “By the way, I think it’s hot that you swore.” She blushed.

   I smiled and made my way over to sit at the table, making sure to avoid eye contact with Kaden. When I sat down, he got up and came and sat beside me. My heart beat began beating a mile a minute.

   “So I heard you talking outside.” He whispered in my ear. This simple action made me shiver.

   I nodded still trying to concentrate on the movie that was playing. Currently some guy dressed in a clown suit was killing a pig. What the hell kind of movie is this?

  “Sooo…” He said.

  “So?” I continued.

  I looked back to the movie and saw a guy eating a piece of pizza shaped like a clown.

  “What the hell?” I said.

  Everyone looked at me.

  “Max what kind of movie is this?” I asked her.

   “Umm…I think it’s called clowns in New York.”

   “Well it’s really stupid! So I vote we do something else,” I say getting up. “Let’s go swimming again! It could be fun to go swimming in the dark!” I exclaimed.

   “Ya I guess we could…” She mumbled.

   “Oh and-.” I started to continue but Kade cut me off.

   “FOR FUCKS SAKES! I LOVE YOU TOO!” He yelled.

   “Can’t you just stop talking for two minutes so that I can tell you that!?” He asked angrily.

   Everyone just diverted their attention back to the T.V. Obviously giving us space.

   Tears were starting to form in my eyes. All of my friends know not to yell at me because for some reason it just makes me cry.

   “What the hell!?” He exclaimed. “Why are you crying?” He asked me exasperated.  

   I shook my head.

   “I just do that when somebody yells at me. It’s nothing really.” I told him wiping the water from my eyes.

   He sighed.

   “No it’s not nothing. I’m so I yelled. I just got so god damn frustrated that you wouldn’t listen to me.” He told me sincerely.

   “It’s okay. I wasn’t listening because I was embarrassed that I said all of those things and you heard.” I confessed.

   “I’m hot and my abs are damn?” He teased.

   “Ha, ha! You’re hilarious…” I said sarcastically.

   “You know I love you Skylar.”

   “But how is it possible to be sure that we actually love each other? I mean I love you but do I really?” I questioned.

   “I don’t know I guess we’ll just have to trust each other.” He told me and pulled me to him, hugging me.

   “Okay.” I looked up and saw that he was staring down at me.

   “I really want to kiss you right now.” He mumbled.

    “What’s stopping you?” I asked him, right before his lips met mine. We kissed for a minute, until we heard gagging noises. We broke apart and looked up to see Calia and Alex making out.

    I laughed.

   Max and Ely were the ones making the noises. Hmm…They are the only ones left. I know for certain they like each other because…well just because I’m me and I know these things.

   Commence opperation get Ely and Max together by the end of the week. Or as I like to call it G.E.A.M.T.B.T.E.O.T.W.

  I chuckled to myself. My plan is sooo going to work with an awesome name like that!
