Ne Freak Pas Out

Chapter 7, Her rules

I saw Sky looking at me with a funny look on her face. So I gave her a 'What the hell?' look and shrug. In reply she gave me her  'Nothing' look which I knew not to believe. She has a plan, oh the joy!  Cal looked away from Alex and frowned at me.

To be honest I don't mind being single right now. I mean I always thought we would get boyfriends at the same time , but it's not all that bad really.

"What?" I asked

"You just look so bored," she said examining my face

"No, no I'm fine. Really," I lied.  To which she frowned even more.

Just then mom busted into the camper, hand gripping a laundry basket almost overflowing with clothes.

"Girls!" she called out of breath "Here's some clean laundry !" she said dropping it on the table and letting out a sigh of relief.

"Thanks mom!" I called out to her.

"Alright! I'm off to work! Call if you need anything! And you girls know my rules!" she said walking into the room to give me a peck on the forehead.

"Love yea," I whispered

"Love you too sweetie,"  she said and turned and walked back to the door. As soon as she was out and in the car Alex looked at me.

"What's her rules?"

"No drinking, no drugs, no doing it. And if anyones doing it use protection because she's too young to be a grammy to any of us girl's babies. And if there is drinking and drugs, no pictures or videos, especially for doing it," we said in unison for we all heard it far too many times.

The boy's mouthes dropped open.

"Wow" Kade managed to say.

"Mom would be so pissed if I did any of those things when she wasn't home!"

"I think we should watch a movie!" Alex said quickly changing the subject.

"And I know just the one!" Ely said jumping to his feet. "I'll go get it!"

He ran out of the camper, before anyone could ask what movie it was. While he was gone we set the room so it was more movie friendly and the two boys made the popcorn. A few minutes later Ely ran back into the camper- not even out of breath- and popped in the movie without letting anyone see the title.

At the end of the movie I found myself clinging to Ely, my head buried in his chest with his arms around me.

"What kind of fucking movie was that?" Sky asked with a death grip on Kades arm.

"The sacred face," Ely replied without as if it was just an everyday movie for him.

 I looked around the room still hugging onto him. "Where's Calia?" I whispered.

"She went down to get X at the gate. He texted you durinfg the movie and it freaked you out so you threw your phone at her," he whispered in my ear.

 I jumped when I heard foot steps outside.

"It's okay," Ely said 

"It's just al and X" Sky said getting up

I rushed and opened the door.

"X!" I cried jumping in his arms. "I'm so glad to see you!"

"Max! You're shaking ! Are you okay?" he asked  pulling away to see my expression.

"Ely," I said glaring over at him  "Made us watch a horror movie,"

"Oh jeez," X said pulling me into a hug. "Now you've done it," he mumbled over my shoulder to him
