Chapter 8

Kim ran over to the scence when she was stopped by a cop.

"Pasensya Miss pero hindi ka pwede pumasok dito" sabi yung cop.

Umiiyak si Kim "Kapatid ko yan pasokan mo ako, TWINKLE!!" Sumisigaw ant umiiyak si Kim, sinusubikan niya pumasok pero nakaharang yung pulis.

"Kapatid ko yan parang awa mo na pasokan mo ako" Kim begged.

"Hindi talaga pwede miss." the cop said to Kim

Yumakap ni Kim si Xian while umiiyak siya

"Shhh tahan na" sabi ni Xian trying to comfort her.

An ambulance came pushing out an ambulance bed. Kim cried as she saw the paramedics rush her dying sister to the car. 

Kim ran next to her sister and Xian followed

"Ay pasensya pero isa lang ang pwedeng sumakay sa likod" One paramedic said

"Ah okay Kim susundan ko lang kayo"

Xian went out of the ambulance and rushed to his car. As he got in his phone rang. It was the director

"Sorry direk pero na-accidente ang kapatid ni Kim kaya sasamahan ko siya sa ospital kaya hindi kami pupunta jan, sorry po talaga" Xian apologized to his director

"Ah kawawa naman si Kim!" sabi yung director, "Oh sige i-cacancel ko lang ang shoot ngayon. Magingat kayo ha, alagaan mo si Kim"

"Salamat direk" binaba ni Xian yung telepono. Mga 30 minutes na dumating sila sa ospital.

Xian went where ever Kim went and tried to comfort her along the way.

The paramedics rushed her to the OR

"Sorry Miss Chiu pero kailangan namin i-test si Twinkle walang pwedeng pumasok" sabi yung Doctor

Kim sat down and cried in Xian's arms. Xian did his best to make her feel better and to calm her down.

"Wag kang magalala, she'll be okay, ginagawa ang doctors ang lahat"

Tuloy ang iyak ni Kim. Hindi siya nagsasalita. This continued until she fell asleep on Xian's chest.

Dumadasal si Xian "Dios ko, ligtasan mo si Twinkle, kawawa naman siya at si Kim, kailangan nila ang isa't isa"

Dumating si Maja at si Matteo. "Ay nako Xian nakita ko sa balita ang nagyari!!" sumisigaw si Maja

She saw Kim sleeping with dried lines of tears on her face.

"Kawawa naman ang best friend ko, mahal na mahal niya yung kapatid niya" sabi ni Matteo

"Oo nga eh, matagal naman tong umiiyak, I've been tring to comfort he the best I can pero hindi siya tumitigil," Xian told his worried friends, "ngayon lang siya natulog"

"Ano bang ginagawa ang mga doctors kay Twinkle?" tinanong ni Maja

"May internal damage at bleeding siya, nabali din ang ankle niya kaya na sa operating room siya" sabi ni Xian

Tahimik silang lahat, dinadasal nila ang kaligayaan ni Twinkle. Mga 3 oras na dumating ang doctor

Gumising si Kim "Doc kumusta na ang kapatid ko?" nag-aala ang boses ni Kim

"Ginawa namin ang lahat pero hindi talaga kaya ang katawan ni Twinkle ang damage maraming dugo ang nawala sa kanya.I-kaklunkot ko to pero patay na siya" sabi yung doctor sa kanila.

Malakas ang iyak ni Kim. naluluha din si Matteo, Maja, at si Xian nun nakita sila umiiyak si Kim

Xian held Kim tight, rubbing her back. But there was nothing he could say. No matter what he said and no matter how he tried to comfort her he knew nothing could really help.

All of them hugged Kim and surrounded her. There was nothing they could do but be there for her

The doctor came back out, "Pwede mo na siya makita"

Kim went to the room that her deceased sister layed, Xian kept her company

Kim sat right next to her sister's boday and held he cold hands.

"Twinkle naman, bakit mo ako iniwanan" she cried again

Xian put her arms around Kim, he knew she needed a hug, someone to hold on to.

They stayed there together, Kim crying in Xian's arm.

A nurse came in "Sorry Miss Chiu pero kailangan namin ipasok yung body sa autopsy room"

Kim hugged Twinkle for one last time, she didn't want let go, she didn't want to believe her sister was gone.

The nurse covered the body and took it to the autopsy room

Kim never stopped crying. As they were about heading to the waiting area she suddenly just ran outside

"Ah Maja, Matt sorry ha pero kailanga ko siya i-sundan" Xian rushed outside and found Kim crying next to the car

He embraced her in his arms as she grieved
