I Gotta Grind Harder

                                  Drake ( Dru's cousin)

I stood on my strip in Compton waiting for my brother Tate to meet up with me so we could go meet up with our cousin Dru's who we hadn't seen for about 6 years. Jerry hit us up and let us know she wanted us to be down with her team which we knew was a good idea because believe it or not Dru's name rang bells in the street and for a girl she was nobody to play with. Of course if any questions were asked bout her or the crew the streets was never talking  So yeah I was down with the shits. I honestly missed her so much things hadn't been the same since uncle Leon's death so this reunited was well needed maybe we could all help each other. Tate finally pulled up, I got in and he pulled off. We were on the way to our new team and new missions, meaning more money.

                     Later that night-

A group of hustlers sat in the basement of a convenient store playing poker having a little fun and talking shit. That was until the door flew open a and five masked individuals pointing their guns came rushing in. All the men at the round card table dropped everything and looked around with frozen faces. Some of the men were fearful while others were use to getting catch slipping and showed no emotions. What they didn't know was On this night they all were ready to take a major lost because they came with everything and the crew came to collect.

"Don't fucking move.... don't y'all fucking move" masked Dru said while throwing the shaking dude who was in charge of the store on the floor.
"Put ya fucking hands on the table" masked Tate yell ready to shoot at any minute.
Masked Dru grabbed a little basket from off floor "Get all their weapons in here and yall don't do no stupid shit I'll blow ya ass to the back of this basement. The group of the men did as they were told while masked Tate and Ashya collected all their weapons.
"Now don't act surprised y'all no this is bout money.... cooperate and you live" Masked Dru said in a stern voice.

Tate and Briana robbed the dudes clean from everything they had down to Jewelry practically stripping them down while Drake watched the door prepared to shoot anyone who interrupted. Dru smiled at the small come up and was satisfied they left the group of half naked dudes sitting at the table with dumb expression on their faces as they left out the basement. They pushed something heavy against the door so they couldn't get out and rushed out into the night. Drake started the truck and pulled off fast with everybody inside happy that they came up on at least seventeen thousand but that wasn't really enough for Dru of course she wanted more but could you half way blame her.

                               A couple days later -

Dru and her boyfriend, Cam of a couple months stood on her porch hugging each other tight. He was due to leave town soon, but Dru wasn't ready to depart from him just yet even though it would only be for a few days. From the moment she met Cam their love life instantly sparked off and not to mention they were always together, and after Dru hit her licks she was right back laid in his arms. With Cam she could be her  lovable self, but in the streets she had to be a go hard killer and in his eyes he would always love her either way. That was because the love he had for her couldn't be given to nobody else, she was the first girl he ever loved, and he was the first man she ever loved beside Leon.

 "You sure you gotta go"? She asked him giving him sad puppy dog eyes. He stood his tall frame over her and kissed at her lips again.
"Babe you making this harder than it already is... You know I don't wanna leave You" he said truthfully. He loved Dru, she became a part of his heart and he didn't wanna leave her beings tho they had been inseparable since day one. He had business that he had to tend to and it had to be done.
She stared in his sexy brown eyes and smiled. Cam was two years older than Dru, but in his eyes her maturity level was different then other females. She was what kept him calm and he warmed her soul. They were so much of a match for each other it was resistible.
He smiled at her " Babe I'll be back I just gotta make this trip I'll only be gone for three days and when I come back I promise we gonna spend so much time together" he said pecking her lip.
She nodded "Okay but I'ma miss you and you be safe".
"I will princess and I'ma miss you to I got something for you when I get back" He said pecking her lips again before walking down off the porch.
She smiled "I do to" as she watched him walk away to his car.
