TOY SOLDIERS

For My Babygirl

             The warehouse parking lot was secluded and empty. The night fell revealing only pole lights as the crew members held their positions. Slowly a black SUV pulled up threw the truck in park. Both Dressed in all black, Drake and Zy came from out the cut with the duffle bag full of money in Drake's hand. Walking up to SUV, they approached two skinny black dudes.  "You got the money"? The driver asked with a nasty mug on his face.  "You got the money??? Yeah we got the money" Drake mocked the dude, he wasn't feeling his attitude at all. It was taking everything in Zy not to snatch both them dudes up and putting a bullet in both their heads. Little did the two dudes know was that the crew had some tricks up their sleeves and they were just waiting for word to do what was necessary. Ashya slid up under the truck and placed a tracker while the two dudes searched the duffle bag in front of Drake and Zy before she disappeared out of site while Tate guarded her to make sure she wasn't spotted.
Meanwhile Dru was located on the roof holding her rifle with a clear shot at the truck and the two niggas inside. 

"I'm in position" said Dru through the hidden earpieces that everyone had on. 
"Me too".  "I'm with Tate... We're good" said Ashya as her and Tate stood behind the building watching the transaction between Drake, Zy and the dudes. The only ones who couldn't respond through the ear set was them two beings though they were both standing face to face with the targets. Moments later they seen Drake and Zy slowly stepping away from the SUV.  
"It's ya shot ya call" Tate said letting Dru know whatever she was ready to do was clear to do.
That was her que right there, she lowered her rifle in prefect position to the point it was aimed directly at the passenger's head giving her a clear shot. See her plan was to send off a warning that she wasn't playing with Wise and that she would kill anyone for her child. But just as she was ready to pull the trigger, a nine was being pointed at the back of her head. Now she was fucked completely. 
"Don't do nothing stupid Dru" the female voice came from behind her. Not taking heed to what was said to her she quickly dropped the rifle and back hand slapped the female behind her. All in one motion, she spun around, pulling her handgun out her pants and aiming it directly at the female's head. But what shocked her was this wasn't just some random female who was standing in front of her, It was Tia. For the first few minutes no words were said, just guns drawn at each other.
"Give me one good reason why I shouldn't put a bullet in ya skull right now"? Mumbled Dru as she finally spoke up.
Lower her gun down at her side Tia responded with not one inch of fear "Because I know where ya daughter is and to be honest I'm the only one who can get you to her".  "You kidnap my baby in the middle of the night and now you standing her feeding me bullshit" said Dru still holding her gun up at Tia with tears in her eyes.
"I had to do it ... It was the only way for him to trust me enough to get close to him again. See Wise did me dirty too, he ruined the last little family I had left. I needed to end him quick and y'all weren't moving fast enough for me. I need Wise dead" Tia explained.
"Oh yeah and why the fuck should I trust you"? Dru asked with tears streaming down her cheeks.  "Because I'm the only person keeping ya baby alive" and with those words, Dru slowly lowered her gun and stared at Tia. For some reason she instantly felt the need to trust her, even though she felt like she was sneaky at first now it time to give her a real chance at loyalty.
By now the Tate, Drake, Ashya and Zy we're up on the roof with their guns aimed at Tia until Dru signed for them to put them down.  "What the fuck Dru"? Tate asked hesitating whether to put his gun down or bust a cap in Tia's ass.  Dru paused for a second with her wet, watery eyes stuck on Tia " Chill, my daughter's life is in her hands".
"Just trust me Dru, I wouldn't do nothing to hurt your baby okay?? I'm gonna get her back to you in on piece"  Tia said. 
"All that time I had been dealing with you, I introduced you to my crew and this is how you do us" Drake asked with his gun still draw at her. Deep down inside he was hurt because he formed a relationship with her and started caring or her but now she had stabbed them all in their backs. 
"I did what I had to do" Tia stated.  "He was after me too, and he started to suspect shit so I had to prove to him that he could trust me just so I could get back close to him. That was my test and believe me that was the hardest test ever to take Millian but I had to" Tia explained again.
 

Flashback~

       She had just step foot in Wise's office after not disappearing for months. He was sitting down at the desk smoking a cigar while watching the football game. When he noticed her he muted the TV and smiled.
"We'll look what the wind blew in this muthafucka. I thought you forgot all about the old Wise man" he stated a chuckle left his mouth.
Tia smiled "Never ... I just had to found myself that's all".  He nodded his head " So you ready to get back to work or what"?
Tia took a deep breath and nodded her head. She had been trying to figure out how she was gonna pull this off without being killed by Dru and em. "Yeah I'm ready".
A sinister smile appeared on his face "Good I need you to get a Dru and her crew, hit her where it hurts the most".
"How do you expect me to do that"?
Another smile appeared on his face "I want you to take the last thing she has left and bring her to me" he said referring to Millian.  Tia nodded her head as she swallowed hard, and with showing any type of fear she left his office with the mission that he just gave her on her mind.

"I can't .... I can't just wait around for a phone call that my daughter is dead" Dru sobbed.
"I Just want you understand that this was only business. But Dru I'm gonna get Millian back to you if it takes my life just trust me. Wait for my call" Tia begged.
"I can't do that" Dru cried, as she stood with the rifle back in her hand and aimed at the SUV that still hadn't pulled off yet. 
Tia Continued to beg her, she couldn't let her make that mistake "Dru please don't do this... If you kill them Millian is as good as dead. Wise Is waiting for them to return with his money you can't do this. Just wait for my call please".
Tia knew about the tracker that Ashya put under the SUV but after explaining to them that it was no use because they were switching vehicles at a different location Dru lost it. All she wanted was the easy and simple way to get her Millie back safe and sound. All this was too much for her, she couldn't stop crying she just wanted her daughter back and Tia seen the pain that Dru was enduring.
"Wait for my call... It's gonna work out" Tia said again.  Left with no other choice, but to trust Dru asked as she waled up on Tia "You promise me"? She asked with heavy tears in her eyes.  Tia nodded her head and reached her hand out to Dru for her to shake "I promise". Once Dru took her by the hand Tia pulled her into a quick hug before disappearing off the roof top. Dru swallowed her pride and did as she was told, waited for the call to come through.

      Later on that night, Dru'ona had separated herself from everyone. The pain of her daughter being kidnap and held hostage was to much pain to bear. She couldn't just sit around like everything was okay when it wasn't. She found herself sitting on the balcony with a glass of Hennessey letting the night air blew through her soft long hair. One by one everyone came to check on her even though not much was said but a few words. Lastly Zy stepped out and took a seat down beside her, he just wanted to see his woman in a better state than what she was in. "You okay babe"? He asked as he took her hand in his.
Nodding her head slowly "I'm not but I am... I have faith that my baby is safe".  "We gonna get her back Dru I promise and she will be safe" he said trying his best to comfort her.
Tears rolled down her eyes as she nodded her head up and down taking in what Zy was telling her. "I just want her home" she said as she took a deep breath and wiped her tears "I promised her father when I first found out he was murdered that I would always keep her safe".
"What was his name"? Zy asked, Dru never really talked about Millie's father to him. He hadn't knew for the longest time that she even had a daughter. All he knew was that she kept it that way for Millie's safety.  She stared in Zy's eyes "His name was Cam And before I met you he was all I knew. Cam was the only man I ever let get close to me after my father passed, and before I knew it he was taken away from me before I could even tell him that I was pregnant". She began tearing up again "So after Cam i didn't let no one in close to me, not even Snake. He only had a part of me and that was because I was tired of being alone but did have love him. But still it wasn't like the way I loved Cam" she admitted as she wiped away the tears that continued to fall before she finished her statement "Then came you and i felt something special for you... The same feeling I had for Millie's father and that's why I couldn't get close to you at first because I was afraid that I would lose you just like I lost him" she confessed as she wiped more tears that were tempted to fall.
"Babe I love you and I'm always gonna be here. Today... Tomorrow and the day after that I'm here forever I will never leave you. And I know he didn't leave you intentionally but far as me you have nothing to worry about" Zy said. That made her smile inside even with all the pain she was feeling. "You promise"?  Zy smiled and nodded his head as he grabbed both side of her face and wiped her tears "I promise you I'll always be here for you and Millie". Pulling him into a tight hug was all she could do as she cried out on his shoulder, Now she realized more than ever Zy and her were meant to be.
