At Peace: Aftermath

Daytime:

The light wind blew through Dru'ona Anderson's Long curly Hair and the sun tickled her soft dark skin as she walked hand and hand next to a Beautiful Ocean across the border in Mexico with her now nine year old Millian who was the opposite of her mother. Although she favored both Dru'ona and her father, Her high yellow light skin and her light brown long curly hair she had inherited from her father.

 " Mommy I love it here it's so pretty and quiet I don't wanna leave" Millian said smiling up at her mother.
Dru'ona smiled and stared down at Millian before looking back at the ocean waves "It is beautiful here baby Mommy loves it here to".

Dru'ona watched the ocean shore at peace with her baby girl as she her mind back tracked to the place they use to be compared to now she smiled proudly no longer in a place of pain. She had came a long way from where she was now and finally she knew she could live life the way she wanted for her and her family.

Finally At Peace....

     
      It had been two years since everything had happened with the crew. Tulum, Mexico was the most beautiful place to them, they were more settled and happy. The whole crew decided to stay together, they felt as though they were all better off together. With a four story, seven bedroom mansion with a large pool and ocean in the back. Tia and drake were happy together even though the crew felt she betrayed them at first, now their was a understand to what she did. Tate and Ashya had the most beautiful double wedding with Dru'ona and Zy last year on the beach, but the only thing missing was family. Dru missed her mother, even with the fact that she said she would never forgive her or see her again.

"Mommy".
"Yes baby".
"I really miss mom mom" Millie told her mother as they walked their daily walk on the beach. Dru took a deep breath and sighed as she rubbed her round belly "I miss her too love muffin". It was true tho, she tried a couple months ago to reach out to Danielle, but after shit hit the fan Danielle had left the hotel, moved out the safe house and disappeared. Nobody had seen or heard from her and Dru was starting to worry. But with the things she said to her mother the last time she seen her stuck in her mind for these past years.
"Ma"?
Dru glanced down at her child "Wassup"?
"Can I get in the water today"? If Millian loved anything more here in Mexico it would be the ocean right in front of their house. Dru would let her go swimming every other day just like she liked it.
Dru chuckled "Sure Millian, but only for a little while unless cousin Tate or Drake comes out with you".
Millian smiled "Zy might come too".
Dru shrugged her shoulders "He might baby if he's woke". The fact that Millian loved Zy so much touched her. She knew also the moment her husband asked Millian for her blessings at the wedding and made a promise to be the best dad figure to Millian that she would be happy for the rest of her live.
Once their walk was over the two of them joined everyone else in the mansion. The maid was cooking breakfast at the time which was just on time because everybody was starving. Soon as Dru walked through the door she was greeted By her husband with love and kisses. Millian had ran off to her bedroom to change into her swim wear so she could go to the water.
"How was y'all walk"?  "Great, you smell good" Dru said inhaling his good scent and cologne mixed.
Tate glanced over at them and laughed "Damn go to y'all room it's too early for the shits".
Dru walked up on the side of him and playfully hit his arm "Shut up nigga don't nobody say nothing when you and your wife be sobbing each other down" she said as she glanced up at Ashya, Everyone started laughing including Tate and Ashya.
"We do not do that"Ashya chimed in still laughing. Ashya actually looked different she had a glow to her now, her body had filled out a little more plus her hair was grew a few inches longer. She even went and got 5 more tattoos and one of them happened to be her late sister Ashley's name.
"Ummm yes y'all and I'm sick of it" Drake said causing everyone to laugh again.
Tate eyed his brother "Nigga don't start... we ain't bout to air you and Tia business out there". Tia started laughing "Oh yeah... here we go" she said taking a sip of her orange juice. Tia and Drake were more than happy together especially with the fact that they just found out they were expecting a child. Drake always wanted children so this was the start to their new beginning.
"Oh yeah... since everyone is here I thought that this would be the perfect time to mention that all of us in this bitch are having babies". Once he announced that everyone's mouth dropped and Ashya's smile gave it away. Dru ran over to her right hand and pulled her into a tight hug as they screamed happily together. Zy and Drake dapped Tate up followed by a brotherly hug. Drake stood proud because him and his brother once came from nothing and now not only were they rich together, but they were both having children around the same time. Ashya, Tia and Dru all stood around each other making plans for the future far as baby showers and gender reveals while the fellas talked men talk.
In the middle of their session Millian came running through the kitchen started screaming as she pointed towards the window which caught everyone's attention. "Mommy look there's grandma" she said as she took off running outside. Everyone ran to the door to see Millian running towards a slim, woman with short hair walking the beach towards their house.
Dru took off running after Millian but soon realized the woman that was coming towards them was in fact her mother. She stopped and covered her mouth as she gasped for air, her mother looked so different more healthier and beautiful than ever. Once she seen her daughter jump in Danielle's arms she broke down and started crying, with being six months pregnant her emotions were definitely at it's worse. Night after night she cried to Zy about how much she missed Danielle and wanted to forgive her for her mistakes.
Danielle and Dru stood face to face, a few inches from each other and at that moment they realized how much they both hurt each other. The tears in her mother's eyes definitely made Dru regret the last day she seen her mother and seconds later she rushed into her arms and they held each other tight.  "I'm so sorry baby".
"It's not ya fault mama, I missed you" Dru whispered as she held her tightly as if she would vanish in thin air again. What nobody knew was Zy had his ways, and found Danielle and talked her into coming to make peace with her daughter and granddaughter.
Everyone greeted Danielle before walking back to the mansion, it was truly a blessing to see Dru and her mother reunited. "So how... how did you find us"?
Danielle looked at Zy and winked her eye "Your husband called me and told me".
Dru and Zy's eyes met and at that moment she wanted to jump on her husband love him down until she couldn't nomore. Zy was the best man for her, even though nobody could ever make her forget Cam, Zy gave her all she needed and to be happy was what Cam would have wanted.
For the rest of her life she would never understand some things, but maybe some things were better left this way, the good thing was she was happy and even with the horrible journey she took to get there she still had family.
