I pulled up at the safe house and this bitch was beautiful. It looked to be at least a five bedroom or more with a basement. I used the key that Dru gave to all of us before we split up and walked in.

"Hello" I called out realized someone had to have been here cause the TV was on and lights were on. A woman and a little girl came walking around the corner.
"Um... Hello I'm looking for Dru" I said.
The woman frowned "Are you with her little crew"? She asked as she placed her hand on her hip.
I nodded my head. "Wait... She's not with you"? The woman asked.
I shook my head no "The orders was for us to all meet here". The woman informed me as she took a seat in front of me and let out a deep inhale, I could tell she was stressed the fuck out.
I turned around and headed for the door "I'm not supposed to be here then, I need to find them" I told her.
"No, Dru told me that if you showed for you to stay here with us" the woman said as she jumped up.
I stopped and faced her with a frown "But what If she's hurt"?

A worried expression hit the woman's face, I knew something was wrong. I wanted to just turn around and leave back out the door because not only did my crew need me dru needed me the most. I loved that girl and I was supposed to be there for her but here I am ... Nowhere near.

Dru

I ran in the bathroom in search of a box Drake told to get, in the middle of my search for what he asked me to get I search for a first aid kit. I grabbed some towels and a clean shirt for him. I couldn't let my cousin suffer, he was shot trying to protect me. My hands shook uncontrollably and my mind was rushing, I opened the bathroom closet then I looked under the sink and seen the box that said for Dru on it.
I took a deep breath and opened the box and pulled out a gold diamond necklace. It made my heart flutter that he thought of me even though now wasn't the time to shower me with gifts when your life was more important to me. Just then I got a text from Drake I looked at it with a open mouth as I read it out loud...

    He texted "Dru I love you so much you been the best cousin to me
I love you so much that I jumped in front of them bullets
to save ya life. Live ya Father's legacy on your doing good Babygirl".

I stood in the bathroom texting him back with my hands shaking:
  "What are you saying
      Drake I'm coming out now" I replied with shaking hands as I searched all over for a first aid kit.

      " Love you Dru... Tell my Brother, Shy
and Zy I love them to now y'all have to
live without me"

Was the last text I got from him before I took off running down the steps and out to the car. I opened my door and leaned down with tears streaming out my eyes. I looked over at Drake who laid slumped over with low eyes, he was gone.
I started crying hard when I remembered what he said in the past. He told me he would never die in front of me so that's why he brought me here. It was all planned with the necklace in the bathroom and everything he planned this so if he died I wouldn't see him.

I leaned over and kissed his still warm face "I love you to Drake and I'm so sorry cuz" I said. I gave him one last look before I walked away holding my bloody chest. I got in my Audi truck and peeled off leaving Drake forever. I cried the whole ride thinking about all the good and bad times me and the crew had even down to when we met Zymar.
I prayed and hoped Him, Tate and Ashya was okay because I knew Zy was clueless to everything that has happened. Maybe Tate would get to him before me if they made it to the safe house okay.

I pulled up to my doctor's house and beeped the horn before I blacked out.....
