"Come on!!" Laurel pleaded, "it'll be fun, and you always complain about how you never get to go out with your friends!"

"I know, I know." Mark replied, whispering as quietly as he could while still conveying emotion so the teacher didn't see that they weren't doing their work. "It's just I don't know any of your friends. What if they don't like me?" He said thoughtfully, his eyes piercing into Laurel's, who looked back at him with nothing but reassurance.

"It's next to impossible for someone not to like you Mark, and if you're that uncomfortable, you could bring Isaac with you.' Laurel explained. She looked up at Mark, satisfied by the fact that what she said had caused him to consider the offer. Her mouth turned upwards into a somewhat malevolent smile. "...Or Jack?" She added, certain that she had succeeded in convincing him.

She turned back to the front of the class, unable to hide her smile. If she pulled this off, she wouldn't have to be a disappointment to her dad anymore, and for the opportunity to claw her way back into his good graces, she'd be willing to do anything.

"Bowling!?" Jack yelled sourly once they had stepped into his apartment after school. "Mark, you know I cant bowl!"

Mark wrapped his arms around the enraged little Irish man. "Come on Jack! It'll be fun!" Mark sang enthusiastically. "I already promised Laurel... she seems excited to get to know you!"

Mark broke the hug to look into Jack's eyes, his hands rested on his shoulders. "We've both complained about having nothing to do recently." He continued smiling sweetly.

"Y'know, Jack... the colour of your face really compliments your hair. Whoever said that red and green don't go well together really doesn't know what they're talking about."

Jack's complaints were drowned out by Mark's vehement laughter, and as it continued, so did Jack's increasing impatience. Eventually he accepted the fact that there was only one way to silence the irritating man. Without hesitation Jack leaned forward and closed the gap that separated the two, his lips mingling softly with Mark's, and suppressing his overwhelming hysteria.

Mark kissed back, smiling into it as it got more passionate. Jack's hand travelled around Mark's waist and under his shirt, his fingertips gently stroking the skin of Mark's back, making him shiver slightly.

The kiss got more intense as the two headed blindly into Jack's bedroom, refusing to split apart to do so. Jack pushed Mark down onto the bed and followed him immediately afterwards. The short period of time allowed for breath was over before Mark had even realised, as Jack came down on him forcefully, reconnecting their lips.

Jack's head travelled further down Mark's face and to his neck, kissing every inch of it as he did so and causing Mark to moan audibly from the pleasure.

So much was going on in Mark's mind at this point. This was definitely the furthest they had ever gotten, and even his lack of experience in this sort of situation failed to extinguish the fire he was feeling in the pit of his stomach, telling him that he wanted this to happen and he wanted it to happen now. For the first time in his life, he felt like he was ready, and judging by the ferocity of Jack's lips on Mark's neck, undoubtedly leaving red patches of skin that would last longer than their lustful encounter, he was ready too.

Just as Mark reached down to pull off Jack's shirt, however, Jack stopped, his head coming back up so the two were face to face once more. He laughed airily as he looked on at Mark's disappointment.

"Stop being such a tease!" Mark protested, not caring to mask his aggravation.

"That's for making me go bowling." Jack countered, before rolling to the side and exiting the room. Mark chuckled slightly before getting off the bed and following, happy that Jack had at least agreed on going.
