Woken into a fog of confusion, Fenix rubbed her eyes awaking from her slumber on the living room floor.
Trying to remember how she ended up on the mahogany wood, she massaged her temples.Though her brain only manage to conjure up that Tree Man now known as Perilous, theNomedXylon told her to Sleep..and apparently on key she did.
Several crashes brought her out of her daze and into panic. Jumping to her feet she looked around the room. He was absolutely trashing the place, the nerve. She thought.
"Hey!" she screamed attempting at his attention.
After a few more responseless she grew furious and threw the TV remote at the man.
He paused completely.
Slowly craning his neck, she froze in fear. Every bone wanted to run but she was captured in that spot, and his eyes. He stalked over to her slow and daring.
As he walked towards her, she took nervous steps backwards. In true horror fashion, she tripped. He took this chance to squat and look at her how he had been since the first time.
Her curly hair framed her porcelain like caramel cheeks. Heterozygous eyes of grey and green stare back.
He sniffed the air, maybe he missed a scent.
What is she? He thought flustered.
She was scared of her own shadow couldn't even hurt a fly. He shook his head, he knew better than to underestimate anyone in his decades.
"What are you?" His voice radiated intense dominance, it was as if he controlled her.
"Uhm, Black?" she responded, though it sounded more like a question.
Scooting back on the floor further, she created a small gap between them.
"Enough of the games, what species of supernatural origin are you?" Earning a look of shock on her face. She looked at him as of he had 19 heads.
Realizing that he was wasting his time with the girl he asked a question he was sure she could help with.
"Water."
She pointed across the room where they once stood earlier, somewhat cordially.
Stark contrast of the current energy.
After what seemed like eternity of watching Perilous pace. He reached toward his neck to grasp his red charm necklace which she hadn't noticed before. Invisible, yet visible waves began to swirl in the space before him. It was almost like at a BBQ when you can see the heat waves on the grill and she couldn't get her head around what exactly was occurring, but she knew she wanted it to stop.
"I let you into my house and all you do is psycho babble about xylons and the bloody supernatural. You're crazy. Please get out before my brother gets back home!" She warned.
As if on key the heat waves swirl, creating a red vortex, the gravity seemed to be in reverse. Sucking the closest items in.
She stood still with squinted eyes.
He smirked in response, he had to do it.
Needed to do it.
"Ok."
Without another word he grabbed her by the arm and pulled her into the vortex.
Following right behind her, heading for what he referred to as his home.
