Fenix outwardly groaned and rolled her eyes, she was absolutely sick and tired of being woken into unfamiliar surroundings. She was fed up with the mumbo-jumbo she'd been dragged into, "Send me home." she whispered, nonetheless it was a threatening whisper. Slowly rising from the couch she passed out in, she approached Perilous who was reading a book ignoring her like she was a pesky child.
"I said, send me home!" she screamed slapping the book out of his hands. Peri, looked at the book across the floor, then back to the little girl in front of him. His lip twitched and his eyes once black were now red. He rose from his seat hovering over Fenix, "hmmph, Fefe seems to be have a temper tantrum" he drawled.
"Ugh you heard about that," she meant to say in her head but well it came out.
"Word gets around, but let me directly tell you a certain word." he grabbed her by the collar of her shirt. "There is no temper, not in any realm including hell that is worse than mine." and with that he released her shirt.
She screeched when he gripped her arm, it felt sprained just from his grasp. Her scream seemed to have made his ears twitch and head hurt, because he paused momentarily and rubbed his temple. Tears clouded her vision and she begged, "Please, please why can't you just send me back?" her voice cracked. Hopelessness and confusion filling her heart. He bared his sharp teeth at her and from his throat came an animalistic sound escaped.
"I can't" he growled.
"Why?"
"I may need you"
"For what?" she cried
"To set my mother free."
"What? I don't know your parents, I don't even know my own parents much less a..well whatever you are !" she threw her hands up flustered. He couldn't help but to laugh, it was deep and hearty, she was surprised to hear such a genuine sound come from such a wicked beast.
"I didn't even know if she really existed." he said more to himself than to her. Truth was he hated the thought of being created, for as long as he could remember people thought him to be a God. Born of noone, no belly button or trace of parents. Though kids sang prophecy no one truly knew what it meant. They sing a load of nonsensical crap.
Then a realization came to him, if his mother created him she must be the only one with the power to destroy him. His cordiality with Fenix had disappeared and he straightened up back to his hard exterior. She may be a threat. She noticed his demeanor change and placed her free hand on his large one softly. She felt for him, maybe he wasn't all that bad if he wanted to see his mother, she thought. Majority of her sympathy for him went in with understanding, she hadn't known hers either, and if she had the chance to find them she would.
"What do you want me to do?" she questioned. He glanced at her hand on top of his strangely, her direct touch seemed to burn send a burning sensation in his hand, like he'd dropped his hand into a lake of lava. Snatching his hand away he grumbled, "It's either I use you to find them and kill both of you, or just kill you to avoid anyone else obtaining you for the intent of my demise." he smirked wickedly and with that he left slamming the door behind him. A few seconds passed when he came back, "You may speak of this to no one" then again he left.
