                    Sit, Spill & Spit

"That's wicked!" Hailey sported an amused grin. For the last hour and a half she listened on about Fenix new found identity, leaving out the naked conversation of course.

"It's insane, I mean who would've thought?" Fenix replied in disbelief herself.

"How come all these abilities and features are just showing now?" Hailey popped an apple jolly rancher in her mouth and pushed her hair behind her ears.

"Well this Meredith lady-" she began.

"Meredith the Knower of the Unknown." Haley corrected.

"Too much titles I can't keep up, Meredith the Seizure Inducing Medium Fortune Teller Lady'  said I'm like some prophecy come alive. And you remember The Specialist?" Fenix paused to make sure Haley was still following. Haley screwed her face "Yea that guy is bonkers." She widened her eyes to intensify her point.

Fenix continued,"totally agree, but he says the powder I've been using was actually suppressing this supernatural side. Basically my body is playing catch up after 18 years and now this might just be enough shock to my body to kill me. Wohoo" Fenix finished off with  fist pumps mocking enthusiasm.

Haileys fits of laughter slowly died down as the words kill me left Fenix's mouth. "Oh shut up your not gonna die." She pushed her arm playfully. "Besides we haven't even found your title." Her smile returned.

"Fenix the Fangs?"

Fenix stuck her index finger in her mouth imitating a gag.

"Fenix the Flesh Eating Fire Ball"

The list got worse and worse, the pair giggled like two gossiping school girls.

"Well maybe Meredith is wrong, I mean she told him I was 'definitely human' and these teeth say thats obviously not the case."

All day she fumbled over her words stuttering and not out of fear, but because she had no control over her new teeth after they spent 6 hours removing her twisted braces. One moment they were normal semi-aligned molars, canines and incisors. The next her top row canines would climb two inches out of her gums leaving them hanging over her full pouty bottom lip. Several red scratches covered her lips and chin, healing and reappearing every hour by the hour.

If that wasn't enough, her mouth kept filling with unnaturally frigid saliva. Haley resorted to giving Fenix a small trash can to spit into, a slight cloud of smoke appearing everytime she allowed the saliva out.

"You're a arrival is causing a lot of doubt in this realm. You went through dozens of it's specialist and its finest fortune telling witch. People are even questioning TheNomed Xylons strength. She whispered the last part.

Speaking of Perilous, he hasn't spoken to her since the previous night. She awoke to a tidy empty room, when she asked others about his whereabouts they uneasily ignored her.

"How did they even hear about it?"

"This isn't Earth Fenix. Eavse dropping isn't leaning your ear against a door and hoping for the best. There are elves that spy, witches and mystics that use their magic to open their eyes in rooms they have yet to enter." Haley explained with her Austrian accent thicker than ever. Fenix noticed whenever she got serious her accent deepened, she wondered if Haley lived on earth for a time and how the hell she ended up here.

"Can you take me?" Fenix blurted abruptly. "To the outside, I mean. Where the others are beyond the mansion." She further explained.

"Do you want HIM to murder me!?" Haley shook her in protest, her long lustrous chestnut body waves swung in agreement with her decision.

"But Hales I've been stuck in this mansion only moving between two floors with access to only three rooms. I was locked up in my house on Earth unable to travel and look for survivors with my brother and his friends or roam too far into the forest surrounding us. Now I'm in a different realm for crying out loud, and I'm still restricted!" Fenix stood up pacing the room in frustration. Surely she'd have to at least try to convince Haley to take her. It wasn't fair that she was always hidden away like a defenseless little girl, she wanted to see different faces and hear accents. Truly experience life not just through movies.

Looking up through her long lashes to check if her persuasion had done her any good, she pouted.

Haley was unwavering, her usual soft features stern. "That's really immature and selfish. You might be a new species with a reason to be kept alive around here, but the rest of us are not so lucky. We're disposable, especially me!"

Instantly Fenix heart felt heavy with guilt. It was true she knew why she was kept there alive a new species of potential use to Perilous. But Haley seemed to serve no purpose other than being the sibling of Victoria the Sly Fox. Victoria obviously got the privilege of not only catching the attention of Peri's manhood, but also made herself useful during the brewing of war and aided in the ending of it. Her cunning, seduction and manipulation made her one of the best mercenaries and collectors of information, an asset.

"Haley I'm sor" - her apology cut short by an unexpected entrance.

Victoria stood tall in a sleeveless fitted black dress and knee high boots. Her petite waist contrasted her large breast and wide hips. Long jet black hair behind her pale shoulders, her emerald eyes squinting focus on Fenix. A slow grinch like smirk creeping up on her red lips, she said....

"I'll take you"'
