*Hayes' p.o.v*

I managed to swing my arm around her shoulders and pull her head to rest on mine. I can't believe I had the courage to do that. I guess I'm a natural?

I felt her eyes look at me and I saw her smile at the corner of my eye. I was freaking out in the inside but calm on the outside. I wanted to stay like this forever. The weather was so perfect with the sound of cars driving by, birds chirping, the trees bending in the wind. It was just perfect. Just like in those romantic movies. It was like heaven.

"Hayes?" I hear her quietly say.

"Hm?" I waited for her question.

"What made you wanna hang out today?"

"...uhmm.... "

"N-nevermind. Don't answer."

Silence. I felt bad for ignoring her question.

"Cause I couldn't stand but to see you..." I blurted.

She looked up at me from my shoulder with wide eyes...then smiled. I looked down to her and smiled too. She was so pretty. No make up and still beautiful.

"I wanted to see you too," she whispered.

I chuckled. Our face was about 4 inches apart. We stared at each other for the longest time. She was half smiling and so was I. I wanted to kiss her. So bad. I couldn't help it. I leaned down slowly...and....

"HAYES?! OMG!"

What kind of son of a gun would.......Uh Oh....

Jennifer.

Not her. Why now. Please go away.

Jennifer was my ex-girlfriend which you would've guessed by now. She was terrible. I spent only a month dating her but it was the worst month of my life. Well I realized it was the worst month after I broke up with her. She appeared at a Magcon tour and Yea...I guess you could say she was pretty. She was. So I thought she seemed nice and had interest in her. I found out we were staying at the same hotel and so we hung out for the whole time there. At the end of Magcon, I asked her out cause we got really close. We dated for a month and she seemed perfect for me. Then, I found out she was dating 2 other guys and was 2 years older than me. She told me she was the same age as me. She even tried convincing me to stay at her house while her parents were gone to do "stuff". It was terrible.

"OMG it is you Hayes! So surprising to meet you!" She sounded like those typical dumb popular girls with valley girl accents.

'Um.... what are you doing here?" I was giving her a mean look.

"Don't be so rude! I was just visiting here! And...um... who is that girl? You're sister?" She shot Caitlyn a glare.

I didn't know what to say...Oh Yea...shes a girl I met at a party....no. that wouldnt work.

"This is Caitlyn. My girlfriend." I say. I stressed "girlfriend" to try making her go away.

"Um you could do better Hayes. She's so ugly! Why her? Do you feel bad for her? You deserve way better! Maybe being with someone like me would make things better."

Not Caitlyn. That was too far. There was silence so I stood up.

"You? I DESERVE you?" I laughed. "If anything, I don't even deserve Caitlyn. She's amazing so just shut up and leave." I was mad. But I hope Caitlyn heard that. I turned around to see if she was listening but I could see that she was already running. No. Please no.

I left Jennifer standing with her mouth open and sprinted to Caitlyn. I saw her wipe her eyes. I felt so bad. No one should ever be talked about like that. Except for people like Jennifer.

Man was she fast at running. I tried running harder and she eventually got caught up in a circle of trees and had no where to run. She shook her head and said quietly and softly, "Can I be alone?"

"No. I'm not going to leave you alone. Jennifer was wrong. She's so wrong. You know nothing she said was true." We were both breathing hard.

She walked over to a tree and leaned against it.

"Who was she?" She asked wiping her last tear.

I walked over to her.

"She's my ex-girlfriend. But it's all over now. She's a monster and nothing she says is true. I only dated her for like a month." She was looking up at me with her big eyes shining. She looked so pretty. I looked at her feeling so bad and stepped closer and closer to her. I was then practically leaning on her with my hand above her head on the tree behind her and my other hand holding her waist so she couldn't escape.

There was no space between our bodies and only about 3 inches between our faces.

"You're beautiful no matter what. I liked you from the start. And I wanna claim that you're my girlfriend without lying."

Her eyes widen and looked into my eyes which were staring at something behind me. She finally gave in and smiled a tiny bit. "I'd like that too," she whispered.

I smiled. I surprised myself too. I didn't expect to ask her out today. I felt like I've known her for years and it's only been like 2 days. It was crazy how our lives connected. It was fate.

She fully smiled now. I looked down at her lips which were slightly open. This time, I didn't move in slowly so nobady could stop me. I dived into her face making our lips connect. Our lips were moving together. My grip on her waist tightened as she put her hands around my neck giving me even more butterflies.

*Caitlyn's p.o.v*

He surprised me by going straight in for a kiss. I got goosebumps as his hand gripped my waist even tighter making our bodies push against each other even more. I held his neck with both of my hands making my hands warmer. His other hand was above my head pushing against a tree. I felt like I was in a movie. My head turned from leaning right to left. It wasn't a slow kiss. It was medium actually but it was amazing. I think it was more of a make-out instead of a kiss. His lips were so soft. Our heads kept switching sides and we took breaths in between. My hands were now in his hair and both his arms were hugging my waist. He was leaning forward which was making me lean back.

We parted and were both out of breath while our foreheads were pressing together. I don't even know how long that was.

I was now his girlfriend. All of my thoughts about what Jennifer said were all gone and into space now. He was still hugging my waist while I hugged his neck and we were both looking into each others eyes until we heard Nash and Vanessa calling out our names. We both looked to our right at the same time, seeing Nash and Vanessa making a heart with their arms above their heads and singing the "K-I-S-S-I-N-G" song. I laughed and Hayes did too. He rolled his eyes and looked back at me and I did the same. He smiled and the words escaped his mouth,

"You're mine now."
