*Hayes' p.o.v*
I woke up to see Caitlyn on my shoulder. For once I woke up earlier than her! I got excited for today because I was planning on taking her to an outlet.
I quietly got out of bed, being successful in not waking her up, and went downstairs.
I heard a familiar voice as I was walking down the stairs....no. It couldn't be.....
No way.
*Caitlyn's p.o.v*
I woke up to an empty space next to me. I had one eye open and rubbed my other.
I got up and looked in the mirror. I looked like a total mess.
I fixed my hair up and headed downstairs.
I heard an unfamiliar voice as I was walking down the stairs. As soon as I got to the kitchen, I was a random girl and Hayes sitting next to each other on the island table and Hayes' mom on the other side of the table.
Hayes and the girl were laughing and the girl was clinging on to his arm.
They seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I walk in with a smile.
"Good morning," I say.
"Oh mornin' Caitlyn! Please join us! The pancakes are almost ready," Hayes' mom says.
"Thank you," I sit down next to Hayes.
"Mornin' babe," Hayes says and plots a kiss on my cheek.
"Hey," I whisper.
"Hi, I'm Alexa. Nice to meet you," the girl says, sticking out her hand for me to shake. She seemed really nice. She was realky pretty too.
"Nice to meet you too, I'm Caitlyn," I say, shaking her hand.
"Oh yea, I forgot. Alexa, Caitlyn's my girlfriend," Hayes points out.
He forgot? Okay?....
I hide my thoughts and just laugh.
"Oh...," Alexa says awkwardly.
Alright? I'm starting to get worried. Should I? No....I'm jumping to conclusions too fast. I'm judging her and that's not right for me to do. I'll just try being friends with her.
"Yea....awkward," Hayes says and then laughs.
Why would me being his girlfriend be awkward? What's going on? Who is she to Hayes?
"Well, I guess I'm not suprised. I mean, she's so pretty and nice," Alexa smiles.
Aw that was nice.
"Aw thanks," I smile.
She smiles and nods at me and giggles.
I was starting to like her, now that I know she's nice.
"Yeaaa, I know," Hayes says, and kisses me on the cheek.
Okay, I'm not worried anymore.
"So Alexa, how have you been? After you moved," Hayes' mom turns around from her cooking.
Moved?
"It's been great! California is just like how I imagined! Of course I miss everyone though," Alexa replies.
Everyone?
"Oh that's nice. Did you move on yet," Elizabeth asks.
Move on?
"Mmm, no. Not yet..." Alexa smiles, then looks at Hayes.
Hayes looks back at her and smiles.
What is going on?
