Finally- Hayes Grier

chapter 8

*Hayes' p.o.v*

I wake up to see Caitlyn sleeping on my chest. She looked so pretty. I raise my head up to see what the time was. It was only 7:46. I lay my head back down and look at Caitlyn. I couldn't get my eyes off of her. She breathed slowly and her arm was hugging my side.

After about 10 minutes she lifts her head.

"Good morning," I say with a smile.

Her eyes widen and she quickly sits up.

"Oh my goodness.... did I fall asleep? Oh my gosh Hayes I'm so sorry," she says rubbing her eyes.

"Sorry? For what?" I ask sitting up.

"I just fell asleep! Your parents might be mad and...," she tries continuing but I cut her off.

"Caitlyn it's fine. Really. You didn't do anything wrong. I was glad you slept in."

She smiled and thanked me. She looked beautiful even in the morning. I probably looked like crap.

"You shower first, or I shower first?" I ask.

"Shower? I don't need to shower here, I could go back to my house..." she says.

"No! I want you to stay longer." I reject.

"Um... if That's ok with your parents and Nash."

"Trust me. They will be. Now go shower, the towels in the bathroom cabinet." I demand.

She thanks me again and walks over to the bathroom. I felt bad she had to sleep in uncomfortable clothes.

I lay back down and think about yesterday. Yesterday was amazing. Probably one of the best days ever. I got to kiss and ask out the girl I really like. Maybe love. I don't even know.

I lay on my bed for about 20 minutes and here the my door open and lift my head. Caitlyn came in wrapped in only a towel. My eyes widen.

"I'm so sorry. Skylynn had to use the restroom super bad and I had to get out.." she says trying her best to keep the towel on her while looking at the ground.

"Um... Uh...it's...fine...." I say blankly. I know this might sound kind of perverted, but she looked beautiful. Even in just a towel and wet hair. I was trying hard not to look. It wasn't because of her body. Her body was perfect but just her whole self was beautiful with no flaws.She did have major curves which I know she is not aware of.

"Yea... so...is there a place I could change other than the bathroom?" She asks. I could tell she was getting uncomfortable.

"Oh yea..sorry....um... Well...you can either Wait until Sky gets out of the bathroom or change in here while I get out." I say not being able to think of any other place.

"Um.. I'll stick with here..." she says laughing a little.

I get out and shut the door leaning on it after it closed. She was out of my league. Way out. I was so lucky.

For the past 7 minutes I could only think of Caitlyn until she opened the door slightly whispering, "I'm done."

"It's about time," I joke. Not really joking because I wanted to see her.

She laughs and stands near the door while I plop down on a chair.

I motion her to come near me so she walks over and sits on the bed next to the chair I was sitting on.

"Oh my gosh! I totally forgot about my parents!" She yells.

"It's alright, Nash will drive you home." I say trying to stay calm. Were her parents over protective? Will they make Caitlyn dump me?

"Ok thanks....don't worry, my parents are pretty chill. Plus, our moms used to be best friends remember?" She says trying to make things positive.

I sigh in relief. "Does this mean you can stay longer?"

"I'll try asking," she smiles. She grand her phone and texts a long message probably about me and the whole sleeping over story. I really want her to stay longer.

She puts her phone down after sending the message and brushes her wet hair with her fingers.

"BOO!" Nash barges in making Caitlyn jump.

"Did I not say to knock?" I ask annoyed.

"Nope! Well mom and dad left to work so it's just us four and Skylynn for now. We were gonna eat breakfast and then make a Youtube video if you guys wanna join," he informs.

"Do you wanna?" I eye Caitlyn.

"Let's do it!" Caitlyn says.

I smile grabbing her hand and taking her downstairs. I plot her onto a chair and she scooches her legs under the table.

I sit next to her as Nash and Vanessa set out the food and plates.

Skylynn comes downstairs and sits across Caitlyn.

"Are you the girl Hayes talked about all the time?" Skylynn asks.

Caitlyn laughs and I interrupt, "Yes Skylynn. This is Caitlyn, my girlfriend." It felt good calling her that.

"Shes pretty!" Skylynn whispers to me.

"I know!" I whisper back knowing Caitlyn could here us both and she laughs.

Skylynn and Caitlyn talked until Nash and Vanessa sat down and told us to eat.

All of us talked while emptying our plates. Nash was the first one done along with Vanessa, then Caitlyn, than me and Skylynn. We all put our dishes and cups in the dishwasher and head upstairs to make the YouTube video.

We set the camera in front of our red couch and all of us sat on it with Skylynn on Nash's lap.

I press the start button on the camera and sit down next to Caitlyn.

Nash introduces all of us and moves on with the video. We were all asked questions and had to answer them. It was really funny and we all laughed a bunch.

After recording for about an hours, we all say bye to the camera.

"Alright Well I gotta edit this so you guys go on and do your stuff," Nash says leaving the room with Vanessa.

Skylynn leaves the room to play with her dolls so it was just me and Caitlyn now. Finally.

"Um... can I used the restroom?" Caitlyn asks so I give her the directions and she leaves the room.

I lay down on the couch for about 2 minutes.

Caitlyn didn't come back for about 8 minutes so I went to check up on her. I went to the bathroom, but it was empty. I started to worry and go downstairs and see that her penny board's gone.
