I checked my mirror one last time to make sure I didn't have any flaws. I needed to make a perfect impression to Caitlyn's family.

She told me to dress formally so I wore a button up blue shirt with black pants.

"Ready?" Nash said as I got in the car.

"Let's go," I nervously said.

"Bro calm down. Just don't screw it up alright? I screwed up when I met Vanessa's parents. It was a mess. They came in on me and Vanessa making out in her room dude. But I made it up to them so, it's cool now."

I laughed totally able to imagine Nash and Vanessa's dad arguing.

The ride seemed too short to Caitlyn's house. I wiped my sweaty hands on my pants and fixed my hair one last time.

I waved Nash goodbye and walked up to her porch and knocked on her door as lights turned on.

Caitlyn came out with curled hair and a nice outfit. She looked cute.

I kissed her cheek and was greeted by her parents.

I shook hands with her dad and hugged her mom.

"Nice to meet you buddy!" her dad seemed chill. He seemed like one of those cool, good looking engineers that fixed cars. I don't know he just looked tough and chill.

"Nice to meet you too Mr. Leca," I spoke.

He laughed and punched my shoulder lightly. "No need for that kinda speech son. Just call me Nate," he put his arm around me.

I liked him.

"Dad don't do that," Caitlyn whined.

"What? Just having a little bonding time! Why? You jealous?" he let go of my shoulder and jumped on Caitlyn messing up her hair and kissing her cheek.

Caitlyn screamed and pushed him off of her.

"DAD!" she tried not to laugh but failed.

I laughed at their actions.

"I'm sorry for their behavior. Their relationship is pretty weird," Caitlyn's mom said making a funny face.

I laughed and was about to say something when her brothers came down.

Jake was pretty tall. Taller than me, and a lot taller than Caitlyn.

"Sup bro," he came over and high-fived me, leading into a hug.

"Hey man, Jake right?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"That's my name," he smiled.

I liked him too.

I could see the resemblance between him and Caitlyn.

"Hey buddy," I raised my hand towards Matt for a high-five.

He returned the high-five and said hi back.

"Well now that you met everyone, let's go eat!" Caitlyn's mom lead us all to the kitchen.

The whole meal was super fun. Nate kept teasing and embarrassing Caitlyn and Caitlyn's mom kept slapping him for his actions.

Jake kept telling funny stories and Matt kept annoying Caitlyn.

I really liked her family. They were really fun. I could tell they all liked me too. Especially her dad.

The rest of the dinner was filled with everyone annoying and teasing Caitlyn, and me and her mom. It was funny.

After dinner, we all helped clean the kitchen up and Caitlyn and I went to her room.

"So....how did I do?" I said, rubbing the back of my neck.

"You did so well! I'm impressed Grier," she said, crossing her arms.

Her hair was still messed up from her dad massively jumping on her and hugging her.

I chuckled.

"What?" she tilted her head to the side.

"Nothing. You're family's just so...fun." I stepped closer to her.

She laughed and rolled her eyes, "and annoying."

I laughed and plotted down on her bed.

She snuggled up in my arms and wrapped her arms around my torso.

I kissed the top of her head and rested my head on hers.

I didn't know what time it was, and I didn't care, so I let myself fall asleep knowing Caitlyn already crashed.
