*Caitlyn's p.o.v*
I was still holding back tears and I knew where Troy was taking me.
Ever since we were little, we always hung out in this creek behind a bunch of trees in secret.
As soon as we got there, he let go of my hand, turned away from me, and started shaking his head in disappointment, and said, "Douche bag."
I broke down in tears.
"Don't call him that," I whispered through sniffs.
He looked at me with sad eyes and said,"Caitlyn I'm so sorry. That asshole is just so clueless. Careless. Wow I just can't believe anyone would do that to you."
I nudged him with my elbow for calling him something mean again and just sat down on a log.
I was overreacting.
Hayes wouldn't do this to me. He's just excited to see his old ex that he was so close to. I bet I would've been that excited if that ever happened to me.
Troy sat down next to me and rubbed my back.
"Bro it's cool. If he really loves you, he'll notice his mistakes and come back for you. If he doesn't it's his loss. There's way better people out there," Troy says, making me feel a little better.
"I just don't want to loose him Troy. He usually doesn't act like this. He's really a good boyfriend and he really does treat me right," I try to convince myself.
"Well let's just see what he's gonna do next," Troy says.

I knew it. I knew what I was doing wrong. But I just really got excited seeing Alexa.
Caitlyn doesn't know how much Alexa meant to me.
But Caitlyn IS my girfriend. And none of my old girlfriends shoukd interrupt that.
I regret sticking up for Alexa.
I bring Alexa into my house and we both go up to ny room. Alexa hasn't said anything ever since Caitlyn showed up.
I should text Caitlyn.
I went over to my bed and sat down, grabbing my phone from my pocket. I unlocked my screen.
I went to my messages and was about to text Caitlyn but then I heard Alexa.
"Don't."
I was confused.
"Don't what?" I asked.
"Don't text her," she didn't look at me.
"Why not," now I was really confused.
"Hayes....I'm sorry but you don't know how much pain I went through leaving you and I never got over you. I want it back together, I want US back together," she said.
I was speechless.
"Alexa...I...," I didn't know who to choose now. Alexa. Caitlyn. Alexa. Caitlyn.
I couldn't make up my mind.
"You don't need to say anything. I'm leaving tomorrow back to California. But....I have a choice to stay here with my aunt. If you choose me over Caitlyn, I'm staying. If you choose her, I'll leave and I totally get it if you choose her. I'll be waiting for an answer until 10:00 tonight and after that if I don't get a text or anything, it means you chose Caitlyn and I'll be totally fine with that," Alexa said, making it 10 times more harder for me to choose.
I couldn't say anything.
I really liked Alexa, but I didn't know what my full emotions were for her. If I liked her as a friend, or if I actually liked her.
I missed Caitlyn though. Like...a lot. I missed being able to hold her and kiss her whenever I want. I couldn't do that with Alexa...it just felt...weird. But I didn't want Alexa leaving.
I felt so bad for taking Alexa's side and arguing with Caitlyn.
If I choose Caitlyn, Alexa's gone to California. If I choose Alexa, Caitlyn's gone from my life.

"Has he texted you yet," Troy asks on our way to my house.
"No....maybe he just needs a break," I say.
He nods. I could tell he really doesn't like Hayes. That was a bad first impression anyway.
We slowly walked home and as soon as we got there, we hugged goodbye.
I miss Hayes. His warm hugs.
The whole day went by with just me constantly checking my phone without any messages.
I soon gave up checking my phone.
Is it officially over? He and Alexa were together?
Maybe he needs time...
No.
He screwed this up. I'm not giving in.
I need to be stronger.
It was about 10:00 now and I just decided to sleep, now that I had nothing to do.
I checked my phone one last time in case Hayes texted me.
No messages.
