Finally- Hayes Grier

chapter 37

*Caitlyn's p.o.v* 

Mahogany and I calmed down after everyone comforted us, and I saw Hayes walk into the room. He looked mad, sad, terrified all at the same time. I looked at him, worried and he put on a slight smile. I gave him a "What happened?" look and he just shook his head meaning "nevermind". 

I decided to just ignore it and we all just went to set up for the show while Cam and Nash were investigating the room. 

Brea came in the room looking really worried.

"Caitlyn I heard what happened to your room! I'm so sorry, it's probably just a stupid, jealous fan," Brea hugged me.

I gave her a smile. She really was comforting.

"Thanks, but where were you after we came back," I asked.

"Oh I just took a really long bath and took a nap," she answered.

I nodded my head and heard Hayes calling my name and so I went over to him.

He put his arm around my waist and held me tighter than usual.

"Why'd you call me," I looked up at him.

"I don't know...I just wanted you with me," he gave a kiss on my forehead.

I smiled and my heart fluttered because I wanted his comfort the most right now.

*Hayes' p.o.v*

I pulled Caitlyn into a hug after kissing her forehead and I looked at Brea and gave her a disgusted glare.

I hate how she's playing Caitlyn. She's not supposed to. She promised me.

It was just 2 years ago when Brea became my first fan. I wasn't used to fans because I never had any, but she discovered me through Nash.

She followed me everywhere and treated me like I was a superstar.

I actually liked her company and I thought of her as my best friend that was a girl.

I started developing feelings for her and asked her out one day, only revealing the most clingy, evil side of her.

Whatever I owned, she owned. If I texted a girl, she would go and swear to ruin her life.

That's why Alexa moved to California. After I dumbed Brea, she went crazy and ruined every girl I dated after her and she ruined Alexa's by making her move to California.

Same thing is happening with Caitlyn. When I saw that she was here at Magcon, I almost fainted. I knew she was here for Caitlyn.

After the first day, before I went to bed, I checked what room she was in and went there to talk to her.

I said I wouldn't tell anyone anything about her and how evil she was if she didn't touch Caitlyn and she agreed to it. I didn't know she would pretend to be her friend.

Now every second I'm with Caitlyn, I worry. I worry twice as much when I'm not with her or when we go to sleep.

If Caitlyn moves away, I'm going to die. Even worse, if she gets hurt, I would die from depression and guilt for not being able to protect her.

Caitlyn is too special to me and I will not let Brea ruin this trip, or ever ruin me and Caitlyn's relationship.

After a long hug, everyone started making vines but Caitlyn and I just sat on the couch. We made a couple of vines together and Alex came into the room and sat with us. I told him he could be V.I.P with us since he had no where to go because he was forced here.

He sat next to Caitlyn and we all just talked. I wish I could tell Alex the nasty things about Brea and how she's pretending to like him, but I can't.

Alex started talking to Caitlyn a lot and then Brea came over. Great.

Caitlyn and Alex were too busy talking to each other to notice Brea.

"And you can't do anything about it," she whispered.

I ignored her and pretended to pay attention to what Caitlyn and Alex were talking about, but they both got up.

"We're gonna go grab a drink from the vending machine," Caitlyn said before they walked off. I gave a small smile and nodded my head for her to go.

I quickly got up after her and went over to Matt, Carter, and Mahogany to get away from Brea.

She huffed and leaned back on the couch with her arms crossed. I sighed in relief that I wasn't alone with her. I was actually kind of scared of her.

After about 10 minutes, I went to search for Caitlyn because she wasn't back. I started getting worried.

I hurried out the door and turned the corner to the vending machine, but she wasn't there. I started to panic and startes running everywhere for her.

I went to her room and she wasn't there. I hurried downstairs to the lobby and she wasn't there. I was sprinting everywhere now.

I then spotted Alex in the diner and sprinted there. As soon as I opened the door, Caitlyn was casually laughing with Alex. She spotted me from the corner of her eye and her eyes widened when she

me panting and sweating. She set her drink down and hurried over to me.

She looked over me to check if I was hurt.

I pulled her in for a hug. I didn't care if I was sweaty. She didn't seem to care either because she hugged me back tightly.

"You had me worried sick," I breathed.

"Why would you be worried? I told you I was going to get a drink," she was confused.

"I thought you went to the vending machine."

"Oh, it was broken so we decided to just come to the diner."

"Don't ever leave me."

"Why would I leave you? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. I'm just happy you're safe."

She laughed, "Why wouldn't I be?"

I just hugged her tightly amd ignored her question.

After we came back upstairs, all my sweat dried and Cam and Nash were back.

"Hey Caitlyn, we reported the room and the police are going to deal with it, so you'll have to sleep with someone else for the rest of Magcon," Nash told Caitlyn.

"She'll sleep with me," I said before she can make a decision.

"Um, okay I'll go with Hayes," she said.

Nash nodded and we headed to start the show.
