Hayley Mills and Blair Warner were in a race to get to Stella and Humpo's house, where a big meal was planned, but there would be only one cupcake for desert. The first person to arrive would get the cupcake. While they raced, Hayley kept nagging Blair to remember her lost turtle, Tamara, hoping that the memory of the slow turtle would slow Tamara down.
People watching them race shouted out in unison, "Oh, Hayley, Hayley, Hayley... I wonder how you've felt watching yourself nag, nag, nag at poor Blair throughout this race and then be the one to eat the cupcake. We hope that it's stale!". They chanted this over and over, until Hayley finally saw the error of her ways, and let Blair win the race. Unfortunately, the cupcake actually was stale.
