Saturday.

It was getting late when we all decided to sleep over. The fire had died down and we moved to party inside, to the living room to be exact. I had gone upstairs to retrieve my phone and I had texted my mother that I would be staying over, she just replied with a 'okay, be good' and I never responded.

I was on the couch, scrolling on my social media, my head lays on Cal's lap as he plays fifa with the guys. I had went on my website to see if anyone had said anything, I saw that I had tons of notifications. I immediately sat up, "holy shit," I mumble to myself as I'm reading the comments and pictures of people eating the cupcakes and another bubble at the top left saying that I had like 60 orders.

"What happened?" Cal questions still watching the game and playing.

"Oh. My. Fuck," I said a little louder, still scrolling through the website. "Look!" I show him my phone and his eyes go wide, dropping the control on his lap and taking my phone from my hands.

"Oh my god! See I told you this would happen," he hugs me and the guys to turn to us with a confused look.

"What are you guys looking at?" Luke questions from the love seat and leaning over to try to see the phone.

"The website Cal made for me is blowing up, jeez, I didn't think this was going to happen. Oh my, I'm going to be so busy. Baking plus homework, I have to study for my SAT's." I start rambling, Calum takes my hand and rubs it with his thumb and it calms me down a bit.

"You're going to be okay, I'm here to help you. The guys will help too, we're here for you just like you support our music," he says as the guys nod in agreement. I smile gratefully to them, we have a group hug and I mention a 'thank you' as the respond with 'it's nothing's'.

It's been hours and it's currently 2 in the morning, Cal and I moved to his bedroom awhile ago because the boys knocked out on the couch and we didn't want to disturb them. Before we went upstairs, we got a whole pack of oreos and 2 large cups of milk.

"I remember when I was younger, like 4 maybe, my dad took my brothers and I on a cruise and I was 'playing' a huge game of chess. I didn't really know what I was going, but my older brother told me what piece I had to move," I dunked my oreo in the milk and took a bite before I continued my story. "And when I mean huge, the game pieces were literally taller than me," I let out a giggle, "I have a picture somewhere at home, I'll show it to you next time you come over."

"Aw, baby Lupe," he pinched mt cheeks lightly and I slapped his hand away playfully. "You must miss your dad, huh?" I just give a small nod and hold back my tears.

"Yeah, a lot, I see him like once a year. When I was younger, my mom made me and my brothers move to Texas and my dad followed because he wanted to be near us." I sigh at the memory and ate another cookie along with a sip of milk. "We only lived there for a year and moved back here, back to Chicago. My dad couldn't move back because he didn't have the money so he was forced to stay there."

"That's bull, your mom shouldn't have done that. It's not fair," Cal shook his head in disappointment.

"I know, but I was a little girl and I didn't have a voice. The voice I did have, had to say 'bye-bye daddy'," I sighed, head drops and looks at my hands.

"Hey, look at me," He takes my hand and his other hand on my chin as he gently pushes my head up to look at him. I look into his eyes, they're glossy, just like mine probably are. "Everything is going to be okay, maybe he'll come back or you'll be able to visit him more," he suggests and I just shook my head no.

"He's not coming back, he remarried a few years back and I don't think they'll move over here," I whimper as a tear fell down my cheek. I feel his thumb wipe it away and pulls me into a hug, I hide my face in his neck as I try to calm my whimpering. Cal took the cup of milk I still had in my hand and put it somewhere that I didn't see.

"Let's go to sleep," he whispers, I just nod and lay down next to him. My face facing his, his hand cradles my cheek, "you're very beautiful, you know that?" he whispers and I give him a small smile.

"Thank you.. for being there for me," I mumble, snuggling into his chest and taking in his smell.

"Thank you for being in my life," he responds as he kisses my forehead. With that, I was out like a light with a few sniffles.
