Tuesday."Hey, senior," Andres came up to me and I rolled my eyes jokingly.
"Hello, senior," I closed my locker and walked to my first period.
"What's your major? Did they change it because you went on tour?"
"No, I still have Teaching as a Profession, we'll be teaching the preschoolers," I smiled. I loved children along with teaching, I always dreamt of teaching kindergarten. Of course that was before my whole baking image.
"Oh really? I didn't know the school had a preschool," we had gotten to my class and leaned against the wall before I went in.
"Yeah, it's the class by the teacher entrance," I nodded. We said our goodbyes and I went into my first period class.
-
It was lunch time and I sit alone due to not having friends who share the same period lunch.
"Lupe?" I look up as I heard my name being called after taking a bite from my sandwich.
"Oh, hey, George," I smiled at the boy who I used to have a mad crush on before I met Cal.
"What are you doing here, all alone?" he sat across from me after nodding to his friends at a different table.
"Yeah, I don't really have any actual friends," I chuckled and shook my hand, then taking another bite from my sandwich.
"You could sit with us?" he pointed over to the table where his friends were.
"Sure, but I don't really know if your friends will like me."
"They will, you're like the only girl who doesn't talk about themselves and you're really cool," he laughed.
"Not all girls are like that," I laughed.
"Well, I don't know any girls other than you who aren't like that," he stood up from his spot across from me and took my empty plate and threw it in the trash. "Come on," he took my hand and pulled me up from my seat, then grabbing my backpack and tossing it on his shoulder and dragging me to his table.
"Guys, this is Lupe, she's going to be sitting with us," he smiled as I took a seat between him and another boy. They all welcomed me and made me feel like a part of the group.

The lunch period had ended and George was walking me to class along with sharing his pack of Oreos with me.
"So I have a scenario and you tell me who's to blame," he spoke up after leaving my locker.
"Shoot," I nodded as I took another cookie.
"There's this girl and she likes this boy, we'll call him guy A. But guy A just wants to be friends so this girl gets into a relationship with guy B. This girl tells guy B that she hates guy A, so guy B goes after guy A and.."
"The girl is to blame," I cut him off.
"Really? You think so?" his eyebrows furrowed.
"Well yeah, she's just mad that she can have guy A so she just uses guy B to get back at guy A," I shrug as I took the rest of the oreo pack from him.
"Oh, wow, you're the first girl to say that. Every other girl I asked said it was guy A's fault," we went into the classroom and sat next to each other in the back row.
"I mean, girls just never want to be wrong so they'll attack the boy to get back at him," I ate another cookie. "You see, I am not like that, I can admit that I am at fault and I can see both sides of the story."
"I like you," he chuckled softly and nudges my shoulder and I rolled my eyes playfully.
"I like you too," I smiled softly before turning my attention to the teacher, still munching on oreo cookies.
It's weird to think that he may have meant it more than a friend type of way. I mean I meant it in a friendly way, only because I'm trying to create a safe boat. I know not all boys are pigs, but it's like I'm moving on too fast.
When I found Calum cheating on me, I felt like I was drowning, as if everything we had was fake. I knew his emotions towards me were real, but clearly something clicked in him that he just had to fuck up.
I have the let the past go before it ruins me even more.
A/N: short chap, what do you think of george?
