Nashi And Luke's Journey [Fairy Tail] [COMPLETED]

Chapter 5

We were now approaching the village that was on the other side of the forest.

“So Luke, in all that chaos, mom gave me a bag with money” I said pulling out the small bag.

“How much is in it?” I looked in the bag. “About 30,000 j.” I said.

“Mom really was prepared in case Nightingale Wing came after us” I nodded in response.

“Well, we need to get some new clothes” I said. We must really look weird coming into the village like this. I was still in my pajamas and boots and Luke was in a T-shirt and boxers with his shoes.

We were friends with the people in this village but we decided to live on the other side of the forest.

We walked in the village where there was nobody in sight seeing that it was the middle of the night.

We approached the inn and entered. “Nashi, Luke what are you doing here?” the inn owner Kate said. Kate was friends with our mother and was around the same age as her as well.

“They found us” was all that I said. Her eyes widened for a moment before returning to normal. Mom and Kate were great friends and she knew the situation about us.

“You guys can stay here for free. Here's the keys, I'll give you guys a change of clothes in the morning” she said while handing us the key.

“Thank you Kate” me and Luke said. We walked up the stairs and got to our room where we I slept on the bed and Luke slept on the couch.

We both woke up early because it wouldn't be long until Nightingale Wing made their way through the forest.

I opened the for and saw that Kate already put our clothes in front of the door. I gave Luke his clothes while I went into the bathroom and ton a quick shower and put on my new clothes. Which was a black top, a dark red open vest, dark blue shorts with a white belt, two black fingerless gloves and a black chocker.

I walked out of the bathroom to see that Luke changed into his outfit that was a white T-shirt, beige long shorts, and his shoes.

He walked in the bathroom and closed the door. I looked out the window and saw that the sun was just coming up.

After Luke was done using the bathroom, we gathered our things and walked downstairs and saw Kate coming out of the kitchen. “Oh! You're already awake. Come on, eat your breakfast” she said while going to a table. We followed.

Breakfast went by quick and we said our goodbyes to Kate and were going to go out the door until Kate stopped us. “I made some food for your journey and gave you some other necessities in this bag” she said while giving Luke the bag. I hugged her tight and thanked her. We walked out of the inn and left the village.

One of the things that Kate gave us were a map so we're checked it.

“We're a long way from Magnolia” Luke said. “Looks like we have to go to Clover Town and take the train to Magnolia” at the mention of the word 'train' Luke held in a gag. 'Jeez, he hasn't even been on the train yet and he looks like he's gonna puke' I thought.

“We have to go to Fairy Tail and possibly all them for help on how to get mom back” I said. Luke nodding in agreement.

“But Nashi, when we do get to Fairy Tail, what are you gonna do if they ask what your magic is?”

“I just have to keep it a secret. If they find out I have her keys, they will assume something” I said as I stopped for a moment.

“Why'd you stop Nash?” he said also stopping. “Luke, I know who our father is” I turned around to face him.

“W-what? how do you know?” he said. I took my locket and opened it revealing the holographic picture. “Mom said that I got my hair color from dad and that he was also her best friend” I said while pointing to dad.

“He's the only one with pink hair. Mom did say that your hair was  uncommon” he said while starting at the picture.

“I'm pretty sure he's a fire dragon slayer cause your one too. When we get there, say that you have a lacrima so they won't get suspicious” I looked at him.

“I get it Nashi. I just, don't understand why mom never really talked to him.” “I'm pretty sure mom would've told us when she was ready.” I said.

I closed my locket and continued walking with Luke trailing behind me.

'Why is Nightingale Wing after our keys? It might be because we're some of the most powerful celestial wizards left. Maybe they want to use our spirits or something' I thought.

Anyway, I have to keep my keys safe. We have to save mom as well. “Nash, I'm worried. I hope mom made it” I heard Luke say behind me.

“I'm worried too Luke. But we have to stay strong and get to Fairy Tail” I said. “Are we gonna join the guild?” I asked while turning around.

“Hell yeah! I want to go head to head in a fight with dad!” he shouted while pumping his fists in the air. I sweatdropped. “You know we can't tell him that he's actually our father” I said.

He nodded. “I know. I'm just itching to fight something or someone” he cracked his fists.

I just shook my head and continued walking. 'I pray to Mavis that he'll behave' I thought.

|3rd person POV|

“Achoo!” Mavis rubbed her nose. “You okay?” Zeref asked. “Yeah, I just hope I'm not coming down with something.”
