Chapter 10

“WHAT?!” the whole guild shouted.

“Hey! I thought I was the only Fire dragon slayer?!” uh oh. Father coming this way. “Me and Luke are second generation dragon slayers. We have dragon slaying lacrimas in us” I said.

“Interesting. So the guild now has three fire dragon slayers.” A red haired woman said. Everyone but me and Luke sweatdropped. “You two better not destroy everything like Natsu here.” a raven haired man said. “What did you say Ice freak?” dad said.

“What did you call me, furnace face?!”

“You wanna go ice stripper?!”

“Fine with me!”

“Do I hear fighting?” the red haired woman asked. 'Yup, definitely related to Jeremy'.

“What are you talking about? Me and ice pee here are the best of friends!” dad said while hugging the other guy. “Yes! Me and flame brain are the best of friends.” 'wow, that guy looks pissed' I thought.

Dad approached us. “What's up? I'm Natsu Dragneel. And this is my buddy Happy” a blue exceed came and sat on my lap. “Hi!” he said. “Oh! Hi, I'm Nashi. And this is my brother Luke.” Luke rubbed Happy's head. “What's up little guy?”

The red haired woman came to us. “My name is Erza Fernandez. I'm Jeremy's mother” 'Yup, I was right'

The rest of the group came and introduced themselves to us.

“Um Nash?” Luke asked. I turned to look at him. “Yeah?” “We don't have a place to stay at.”

“Crap! I totally forgot about that!” I facepalmed. I groaned. “We don't have enough to stay at an inn.” I used most of my half of the money left to pay for Aquarius's key.

Aunt Mavis walked over to us. “Is something wrong? You look troubled.” she asked. “We don't know where to stay tonight. We don't have that much jewels.” Luke said.

“Why don't you stay with us?” she asked. “What?” me and Luke asked. “It's perfectly fine! We have an extra room so it's fine if you'd like to stay with us” she smiled.

“No! No! You don't have to do that! We'll figure out a way.” I waved my hands back and forth. She looked at me with a stern look. “You are my niece and nephew, you are family!” she whisper shouted.

I shook my head back and forth. “Uh uh” I said. “C'mon, please?” she asked. I did the same thing. “Okay, that's it!” she yelled. Suddenly, she drags me and Luke by the collars. “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!” Me and Luke yelled. 'Man, she's stronger than I thought'

“Um, First. What are you doing?” Mira asked. “I'm dragging them to my house.” was all she said. “May I ask why?” “Well, they need a place to stay and you know I don't take no for an answer.” we were already halfway to the door.

“Okay fine!” I agreed. My butt was already sore from all the dragging. She let go of our collars and we stood up. “Okay. We'll stay with you and Zeref.” she gave us a happy smile and went to where Uncle Zeref was sitting.

I walked to the bar and sat down. “Do you want to order something Nashi?” Mira asked. “Can I have a vanilla milkshake?” I asked. She nodded and went to the kitchen.

“Hi Nashi-chan.” I looked to my right and saw Emily. “Hey Emily. What's up?” “Well, we want to ask if you and Luke would like to join our team?”

“Really?” “Of course! We need more people. So far, it's just me, Jeremy, and Sophia. We'd love to have you two in our team.” “I'll go ask Luke and we'll tell you.” “Okay! See you later Nashi-chan!” she waved goodbye and I did the same.

“Here you go Nashi! One vanilla milkshake.” Mira placed the milkshake in front of me. “Thanks Mira!” I took a sip of the milkshake. 'It's so good! How does Mira make this?!'

I finished my milkshake and went over to Luke who was talking to Storm. “Hey Nashi, guess what?” Luke asked. “What?” “Storm asked me if we'd want to join his team!”

“Wait, what?! But I was gonna ask you if you'd like to join Emily's team!”

“Well, how about we go separate teams? I go with Storm and you go with Emily?”

“Hmm, good idea. Okay, so I'll go tell Emily the news then. Bye guys!” I waved at them while I was walking towards Emily's table.

“Emily, looks like I'm joining your team!” She looked up from her book and have me a hug. “Yosh! So Luke agreed?” she asked. “Nah, Luke decided to join Storm's team.” I said. She nodded and said,“Well, we're planning to go on a job later in the week so be sure to be here.”

I nodded and went to the guild library. 'I wonder what books they have' I climbed a few steps on the stool looking in the shelf.

'Hmm. Maybe this one.' I tried to reach it but I was too far away. I went on my tippy toes to reach the book when the stool went unsteady and I fell off.

“Ooph!” I rubbed my sore bottom. “The second time today.” I mumbled. Suddenly, something hard hit my head. “Ow! What the hell?!” I picked up the book that fell on my head.

It was a semi thick book with a leather cover and the guild mark on the front. I took it to a nearby table and sat down.

I opened the book to see that it's a photo album! 'Some of the pictures was also in my locket.' I opened my locker to see the pictures again. “Yup, they're the same.” I whispered. I looked through the photo album and saw many pictures of the members.

I stopped on one particular page. The caption read: Lucy's birthday party! Mom was sitting at a table with a big birthday cake in front of her. There was a candle on the top of the cake that had the number 20 on it.

I looked at the next page and saw dad accidentally setting mom's cake on fire. 'Hehe, just like Luke' I flipped over to the next page and saw uncle Gray freezing mom's cake solid. I looked to the next page and saw aunt Erza beating dad and Uncle Gray up. I sweatdropped looking at that picture.

Nonetheless, mom looks so happy. I touched my locket. 'Don't worry mom, we'll find you soon.'
