Chapter Nine

Miss Tibbet's Home for Boys
08:00,The next day

Alistar's POV

"I need to show you something.
I followed Miss Wonders up the stairs, I wonder what she wanted to show me.
"Wait here," she told me and went into a room and shut the door.
I waited.
This morning, there was no school, no lessons. All the boys were playing outside. I was summoned by Miss Wonders, or actually my Mother. I just knew that yesterday.
"Alistar, come in."
I opened the door, and I saw my mother in a total different attire. She was in a blue dress and white apron. Her hair was down and a black hairband secured in place. She was just like…
"Alice..." I breathed.
"I am, Alice. The Alice," she smiled.
She was amazing.
"Alice of Wonderland?"
"Alice of Wonderland."
"Wow..."
I clutched my Through the Looking Glass in hand, my mother gave it to me this morning.
"Wonderland is real?"
"It is, and I'll be taking you back, tonight."

14:00

Franz's POV

I'll miss that guy.
Dear Alistar, such a sweet boy.
Adeline agrees too, she has met him for a few times before.
Alistar is Adeline's aunt's (Miss Tibbet) grandmother's sister's (Miss Wonders, or I should say Alice) son. So they are kinda like relatives.
Alistar just knew that Miss Wonders was his mother last night.
And I caught Mike and Bill outside Miss Tibbet's office last night.
Bad boys, and now, those two knew everything (except for the fact that Alistar is from Wonderland)
Lunch progressed well until Miss Wonders announced that she will be leaving tonight. The boys bawled and cried.
Suddenly, Gerry rushed in.
"Franz! Did you know... know..."
"Know what?"
I was doing my paperwork actually, and I hate people interrupting my work.
"Miss Wonders is Alistar's mother!"
"Of course I know," I said and rolled my eyes.
Silly boys, though I was one of them, once.

Mike's POV

The news wasn't surprising to me and Bill now.
Curse us going downstairs last night.
But getting to know that Alistar finally found his mother, that is pretty good.
I'll miss that guy.
We all will.
