Inside the Queen of Heart's Castle
Liana's POV
I can't believe I am meeting the Alistar of Wonderland.
Many people talk of him, I saw him once only before.
He was still a baby then, wriggling in Miss Alice's arms. I got to hold him once at least, he was so cute.
Ever since he was sent to the Real World, I never saw him again.
Two years later, he's back, but much older. I expected that, time difference did the job.
We went through the hallways of the palace, climbing up stairs.
As we climbed up to the tenth floor, Alistar was out of breath.
"Are we there yet?" he gasped.
"Yes," I laughed as he sighed with relief.
"One more step, I think I'm gonna die."
I approached a pair of grand doors and opened them.
Liana's Room of Reference
Alistar's POV
"Come in and sit," Liana told me.
I did what she told as she reached for some books on the shelves. The room was kind of messy.
"Well, firstly, take this," Liana cried and threw me a large scroll.
"WOF and the Beyond, A History," I read.
"Wonderland, Oz and Fantasia have long histories. But I guess we should start with Wonderland," she smirked and dumped a pile of books with blue covers.
"What shall we start with... oh yes. With the logo. The first book please, Page 20, Chapter 1, The Logo of Wonderland."
"Where are pages 1 to 19?"
"A BRIEF introduction on this book, which is like... more than five thousand words. Anyway, the logo is like this. A 'W' for Wonderland in the middle. There is a mushroom, you see? That's the Wonderland Mushroom, Wonderland's sacred plant."
"I thought mushrooms are classified as fungi?"
"What is FUNGI?"
"Whatever."
"Anyway that is that and also..."
Liana's POV
Teaching Alistar was fun. I love every minute we spent together.
I taught him the Basics and the beginning of our magical world.
Now, it was time for him to know the oldest families of Wonderland.
"Here we are... The Elder Families, that's what we call them. They include, the Chesters, the Hearts, the Desmonds, the Whites and of course, the Hatters."
"Wow!"
"Yup, so good! But I think, you should know something about your family."
"What?" he said, his voice suddenly dropped. His face darkened as if it was bad news.
I wonder what's wrong with him.
