The Mad Hatter's Teashop
The Next Day, 10:00
"Boo!"
"Ah!"
"Hello, Alice Boy."
"Liana! Good too see you."
"Good to see you too, Alistar."
"Why are you here?"
"My daily routine with Mom and Dad. Always morning tea at ten at your father's..."
My face darkened at the word 'my father'. Liana quickly corrected.
"Mr. Hatter, I mean."
My smile returned.
"You know, Alistar. I think you should stop thinking Mr. Hatter such a bad man."
"Why not? He was mean to my mother, a total jerk! My mother must have been cursed to fall for him," I said, rolling my eyes.
"Alistar... sorry to say. But your father wasn't mean to your mother. It was a total accident. All of Wonderland knows it. If you could just reconsider..."
"I will not!" I cried back and stormed out of the shop.
Liana's POV
Alistar, if you still don't understand what is the truth, you'll never get along with your family.
Alice's POV
I was embarrassed of my son's sudden outburst, now everyone's looking at me.
Hatter's POV
I still can't blame him. He just still doesn't understand truth. Alice turned away from the customers, this was bad.
A Week and a half later
The Hatter House
Alistar's POV
There was a knock at the door.
Mum and Mr. Hatter were at the Shop as usual, so I answered it.
"Hello? Is Mr. Matthew Hatter here?" asked an unfamiliar face.
"No, but... I'm his son," I spoke, a bit surprised that I said that he was my father.
"Oh, Alistar Hatter," he said, "for Mr. Hatter, but he actually requested this to be handed to his son."
He handed he package and went away.
Tearing the wrapping, there was a box and a card.
The card read:
Dear Alistar,
My dear son, I know you are mad at me, about treating your mother unwell before.
But I have to say, it's not.
Here is a gift, I hope you can understand.
Yours ever,
Matthew Hatter, your father
I opened the box, curious.
It was a book.
Yup, it is a book. Sorry for not updating long, I am really sorry. I only type this once a week at least and when I finished, I forgot to hit the publish button.
So, yup.
Besides, I am typing another sequel on my computer about LAW (Those who read should know). It's not on Wattpad yet, but I'll think about it after I completed. 😊
