It was pretty late for someone to be knocking on the door but I walked over anyway. I looked back at Justin who was now scrolling through his phone and I found myself smiling as he laughed at something and I couldn't help hut notice how beautiful his laugh and smile was. I loved seeing him this way; happy.

Turning my head back to the door, I opened it slowly and saw someone I never expected to be at my door. Tyler. His dark hair and bright eyes were shining. What was he doing here? I stared at him as I couldn't find the words to say.

Tyler. The guy who had taken me to the halloween party, kissed me and I left him to spend the night in a hotel with Justin, him being my avoiding target at the time. Tyler didn't know that I'd left him to catch a ride him him and for all I know, he probably didn't know that Justin was my boyfriend. I already wanted to disappear in my room but I managed a smile as he threw his arms around me.

"Ariana," He smiled as he hugged me around my waist and I hugged back, slowly.

"Hey, Tyler," I greeted as soon as he pulled away. "What are you doing here?"

"Well, I'm in town for a few months then I'm heading back to university, so I thought I'd say hey." He replied as his eyes met mine, they then soon trailed behind me and I felt a hand wrap around my waist. I turned to look up at Justin who was staring at Tyler, his eyes were friendly though.

Tyler looked confused as his glance moved to look at Justin's hand around my waist. I nervously smiled at him, afraid of what he might think or what he might say. He obviously had no idea that I was dating Justin.

"Hey, I'm Justin. Ariana's boyfriend." Justin said, breaking the silence as he put his hand out and Tyler quickly shook it. Justin was being surprisingly fine about this which was weird because Tyler had kissed me and Justin had seen it.

Then it hit me. Justin had seen it but he didn't remember Tyler and I felt my breath hitch as Tyler gave me a short glance of confusion. I was really hoping that Justin didn't remember who Tyler was and what he had done at the halloween party. If he does, things won't be so good between the three
of us.

Pulling myself together as Justin and Tyler had a small conversation, I quickly ran my hand up Justin's shirt from behind. My hand softly running along his bare back and I'm sure this would get his attention that I was worried at the moment. He knew me well enough to read my expressions.

To my wishes, Justin looked at me but instead of giving me a concerned look, he gave me a smirk. Of course. Justin would get the wrong idea and I wanted to groan as his attention was back on Tyler.

"It was really nice meeting you, was it Tyler? But, my girl and I need to do some...homework." He said to my surprise, as he shot me a small wink.

Well, my plan worked and I didn't care that he was thinking something completely different. I would just talk to Tyler later when there was no chance of Justin remembering who he was. Justin left and I saw him enter the living room. Why did he have to leave? This was going to be horrib-

"Uh, heres my number." Tyler spoke handing me a small piece of my paper. "I'd really like to talk with you, so just yeah. It'd be cool if you called me."

"Yeah. Of course."

A huge pile of relief rushed over me as he waved goodbye. I was so happy that he didn't bring up the whole, 'You have a boyfriend?' because honestly, I'd probably just squeal and run away from the awkwardness. I gave him a small smile as he turned away and left.
