I wake up to a blinding light and I feel something against my lips. There someone else's. My eyes haven't adjusted to the room but I can make out red hair. I realize at this moment that Mark just kissed me. He pulled away.
"Sorry, I was too exited that you woke up" he said looking down at the ground nervously. I look toward him and smile. I can see the blush creep up on his face. I put a hand around the back of his head, and before he can object I pull him down to my lips. I kiss him. I kiss him with all my heart. And the best part is that he kisses back, after he recovered from the shock of my actions.
  " Well that was unexpected" he had wide eyes. I just laugh. Suddenly of all people he walks in. I didn't know he was gonna be here.
  "Minwoo what are you doing is she ok?" I frantically asked him. If he hurt her I would kill him.
  "Yes she's fine don't worry I just heard the news and I ran over here" he looked like he had been crying so did Mark. They looked like a mess. Mark now just wore a look of confusion. Minwoo moved over to the side of my bed side.
" You know you gave us a heart attack. You lost so much blood that you were practically dead your heart wouldn't beat. Mark over here was balling his eyes out. He was going to donate his blood to you, but then you miraculously recovered, as if you heard him say that." He chuckled. I then preceded to tell them about what I went through except not telling them about the bad memories. They just stared back with wide eyes. Just then my best friends walked in.
"Oh Minji EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEHH, your awake" Tessa screamed as they both ran and hugged me. The nurse walked in and told them that visiting hours was over and that only one could stay over night with me. Mark bravely volunteered. As they left Mark and I started joking around and acting as if the kiss never happened. Then Marks face got very serious.
"Minji I have liked you for a while and I don't want to loose you as a friend and I think I love you and I-" he said all at once.
"Shhh calm down I can't tell what your saying" I laughed.
He took a deep breath and tried again," Minji I love you and you are the best thing that ever happened to me. I can't control my heart when I am around you. You light up my world and I wanna make you the happiest person on the planet. But if you don't accept me please don't stop being my friend" he said.
My face softens" I love you too Mark, you make me happy just being around you" I smile the biggest smile ever.
" So do you wanna go-" he is interrupted by me pulling his head down to my lips.
"You gotta stop surprising me like that!" He smiles against my lips.
"Shut up and kiss me."I reply.
