A Demonic Sabotage

Lucius had finished bathing Jade and dressed her for bed. She complained about him dawdling for getting her information and so she sent him away which only caused Lucius to grin in amusement as he left her to sleep. He could hear angry shouts as he walked down the hall towards the dining room. When Lucius entered he saw Ciel and alois standing up and yelling in each other's faces. Michaelis and Faustus were standing off to the side smirking and chuckling like giggling goons. Lucius rolled his eyes and announced.

"If its too much trouble for the young lords, i do believe its rather late and should Lady Phantomhive hear the racket she will be very unhappy and take it out on you both."

This seemed to silence the feuding men as they both straightened up their posture and growled out in a sigh. Ciel ordered Sebastian to clean the mess and Alois ordered Claude to clear the dish ware as they exited past Lucius. Both demons smirked at lucius but sebastian added the snide comment of impatience which got the remark of entertaining as he got to work. Lucius raised a brow at them both and approached the mess of turned over chairs and broken glass as he spoke.

"Crow my mistress wants to know the location of the puppet master, and i doubt you forgot."

Sebastian-"Now why does your mistress wish to meet the puppet master?"

Faustus-"As i recall Michaelis, your young lord had a rather nasty encounter with the puppet master that involved the Lady Midford?"

Sebastian-"Indeed he did Faustus, but it was when he was much younger, during the first year of my contract with him."

Lucius- "My mistress is going to employ his services if she can to try and locate her prey."

Both of the demons paused their work and looked at Lucius like he lost his mind.

Sebastian- "And you encouraged this?"

Faustus- "You do realize that there is nothing we can do against that magic right? If she falls prey to the stringing and doll making of the puppet master her soul will be lost forever."

Lucius smirked slyly. He knew that Jade was too aware of her environment and unlike these two demons pathetic masters, his mistress was capable of handling herself.

"Never the less she still wishes to know... after you have told me we can begin discussing the plan to break up the couple of Phantomhive."

Faustus began chuckling in a slight laughter but more silent as he claimed that was the main reason for Alois's presence. Sebastian chuckled along as he divulged the location of the old tower where the puppet master worked and soon the dining room was back in functioning order. The three demons descended through the manor to the cellar and sat around a barrel of wine. Sebastian turned on the lights as well but lit a candle to provide some more light in the dark cellar. Faustus was relaxed the most as he leaned back on his barrel seat. Lucius was most eager since his pure desire was to have his mistress back to himself. He was not one to share well with others. Sebastian sighed as he pulled up his barrel and looked at Lucius.

Sebastian-"Alright Dracovich what exactly is the plan here? Throw Alois into every intimate moment Ciel tries to have with Jade until it drives them both to madness?"

Faustus- "While that could be effective it wouldnt have the desired effect that we would need in the time frame given to us... well without it becoming obvious of our meddling."

Lucius-"It's much better... Ciel is desperate for a child from the pressure of others... Alois is wanting to be the love of Jade for whatever bizarre reasoning he may have, and Jade wants to be left alone to focus on her work. So its very easy and simple you see.... We have Alois play to Jade's desires to be in solitude while still maintaining a healthy relationship thinking he can convince her to leave Ciel for himself. Ciel will have Alois playing to his wants and 'right' to children from Jade which will cause the couple to fight almost constantly."

Sebastian- "You seem to forget that Ciel hates Alois, and also you really believe that Jade would break off a marriage from annoyance?"

Faustus- "If she is horrifically embarrassed because of Ciel i could see her leaving in a rage. There are many rumors of her temper burning many bridges amongst the nobles."

Sebastian- "The birthday ball..."

Lucius-" Jade loves games, and so do the young lords. We simply have them do another mask hunt and we make sure that alois and Ciel wear the same disguise. We convince our masters to kiss the one they believe to be Jade or in my mistress's case, Ciel."

Faustus- "Jade will kiss alois... but what of ciel?"

Lucius- "We will cause some demonic mischief... while Michaelis can't directly interfere with Ciel's perception we can. With Sebastian changing a disguise to match Jade's outfit we can cloud his vision to let him believe a stranger is Jade."

Sebastian- "How angry will Jade be?"

Lucius- "Jade will be furious, because to her we will make sure that the woman we choose... when her mask is taken away looks nothing at all like my mistress. She will think he is so desperate for a child that he is becoming lustful for others. We also need to do one last thing though."

Faustus- "And what is that?"

Lucius- "We need Ciel to ruin her dress."

Both of the demons seemed confused at this statement... what did her dress have to do with anything. What they didnt know is that Jade took pride in her outfits, and in fact spent a lot of time designing and sewing her own dresses for balls. Anytime someone ruined her dress she took it like a stab to the heart.

Sebastian- "So we have my master spill some punch on her?"

Lucius- "No... we have him rip her dress.."

Faustus- "How will you get Ciel to tear Jade's dress? I doubt he would allow himself to lose his temper so much as to strike Jade."

The three demons all seemed to sit up as if a lightbulb went off in each of their heads... they didnt need a dress ripped... if Ciel struck her it would be all over.

Sebastian- "I can cause lots of anger in my master by whispering to him. If he can catch Jade and Alois kissing and she causes a scene.. he will lose his temper and strike her."

Lucius- "Then we sit back and enjoy the show."

Faustus- "This is all very good, it seems we have a lot of work to do."

The three demons stood and shook hands with each other leaving the cellar with equally wicked grins. All of them would get a great profit to their meals from this upcoming fiasco. For Claude Alois would have a new sweetness of disappointment and abandonment when Jade refused his advance. For Sebastian he would have the rage and betrayal from Ciel being left by Jade, but the biggest prize and reward of all would go to Lucius. The mastermind of this scheme. He would be rewarded with the seclusion of his mistress, the rage of embarrassment from being struck in public, the annoyance of being pursued by Alois once again, and the fiery passion and desire of lust that she had for him. Lucius entered Jade's room once more and then sat upon the bed taking his place by her side like he did every night.
