Welcome Home Dear

Jade has returned to the Manor Alois's words circling in her head. But just as quickly as the thought enters her head she dashes it away as complete nonsense. Lucius has eased his worries of the plan going awry by preparing to convince his mistress of bearing his own child should she choose to have a child... but still what is ciel going to ask her? What is the ultimate question he will ask her? Shall we find out....

Ciel's POV

I heard a chime echo in my office and I lifted my eyes to the clock. 4 o'clock. I turned in my chair and saw a distant carriage approaching. I couldn't help but smile as i saw Jade's eyes meet mine from afar.... she seemed in deep thought. She was always the cutest when she was lost in her own thoughts. I stood up and straightened my suit. I should have Sebastian start preparations for dinner, but desert would be held for Jade and I alone.. I saw Sebastian open the door as i went to exit.

"It is done my lord. Shall I prepare some tea?"

"Yes, and get dinner started. Make Jade's favorites I want everything to go perfect tonight."

"Do you plan to ask for children again?"

"I do... but that is amongst other things."

Ciel didnt notice sebastian's brows furrow in question...

"Other things my lord?"

"It is none of your concern Sebastian, just see that the meal is perfect and nothing disturbs it... That's an order."

Ciel felt a little confident.. his heels clicking in the halls before he descended the stairs. 3...2...1...*door opens* I smiled at Jade lovingly and was thankfully met with an equally loving expression.

"Welcome home my dear, how was your shopping? May i see?"

"How naughty of you Ciel, you know that i can't reveal my disguise. That would defeat the whole purpose of the game. Can you believe this alois? After all the hard work we went through."

"I know its absolutely treacherous!"

I raised a brow seeing Alois and Jade laugh amongst themselves... hmm, at least she was in brighter spirits. Perhaps you have some use here after all Alois. I extended my arm out to Jade and she slipped her hand through the crook of my arm and walked with me. Lucius took away her shopping bags and I began leading the way to the dining room.

"So what all did you do in the towns?"

"We ate lunch at this cute little boutique it was very refreshing."

Alois chimed in happily explaining how she was getting too moody and depressed from the gloom of the manor but this only caused us to laugh. I knew she didnt find the manor moody, but perhaps he had a point hidden in his nonsense... maybe that mission did get the best of her. Jade was informing me of how she spied on the competing dress makers and that while they had very nice stitch work their patterns left a lot to be desired. Alois chirped that he thought jade would never pick a dress and I shared the sentiment by telling him of the many hours i spent with her shopping for dresses and joining meetings on different patterns and designs. Jade told us we would never truly understand fashion but that was a sentiment i do not think i will ever yearn to become knowledgable on. I was leading us on a longer route around the manor and I couldn't help but notice alois peeking at the doors. I leaned ever so slightly towards Jade's ear and asked her to go ahead of us towards the dining room and that Alois and I would join her shortly. She seemed worried for a moment and I assured her that i was not starting a fight. She left us hesitantly and I stopped turning towards alois.

"Is there something you're looking for?"

"Aren't we going to see the new nursery?"

"When i build it yes."
