Surprisingly, Alex had gotten her whole apartment cleaned and furnished, the week she arrived in Central City. All thanks to her magic, of course. The brunette whipped out her phone and unlocked the device, going to text the best advice giver she knew; Justin.

To: Justin     2:15 p.m
Loser, I actually unpacked and I don't know what to do. Help me.

From: Justin     2:18 p.m
Go explore the city. You'll get to know where you're living. Just don't get killed or anything.

Love you.

Alex smiled at how Justin still cared for her, even though he had tough responsibilities, and himself to worry about. The wizard opened her closet door, and grabbed her windbreaker once she got a glimpse of the sky. The trees were blowing lightly, the branches swaying from the gust of wind. Along with her windbreaker, Alex slipped on her signature tall boots, these particular pair in a black suede style.

The young wizard made her way out of the bedroom and towards the front door of her apartment.

Alex already felt unusual in this apartment. For starters, her housing unit wasn't in a secret floor, only accessible to creatures of the supernatural. Truth was- Alex already missed her family, but she needed to be free. Alex had always lived in New York City, whether it was the substation or the apartment she shared with Harper. Now she was in Central City, Missouri. She would have never thought of moving to the smaller city. She was attracted to the danger in the city. She wasn't completely oblivious to the explosion that occurred nine months ago.

The magazines scattered across her room contained quite a bit of knowledge, much to her family's surprise.

Alex grabbed her keys, stuffing them in her pocket. Her hand skimmed the brass door knob, but stopped. She was forgetting something, something that helped identify herself as Alex Russo. With a frustrated groan, the second oldest Russo sibling stomped back into her bedroom and yanked open the drawer to her bedside table, revealing her red wand. Alex stuffed her wand between her boot and sock, and rushed out of her apartment.

Alex had somehow ended up in the park. She didn't even know why she ended up in her current situation. First of all Alex didn't like walking, let alone going to a park.

Simply stated, Alex was taking a stroll on the sidewalk, parallel from the park. She found it quite funny how a park was right next to a busy intersection.

A scream was what drew Alex into an immediate defensive mode. And to her luck, she turned towards the intersection, just in time to see a black car flip over on it's roof. Alex gasped as she noticed the glass scatter against the asphalt, once the car hit the black surface.

She had never been a situation like this. Surprisingly, this 'normal' human situation was harder to handle than any supernatural accident she'd encountered. In any supernatural encounter meant, she would have pulled out her wand without hesitation. But she couldn't do that, not today.

Her eyes widened even more once a man climbed out of the car, completely free of injury except the glass in his hair, and the blood dripping from his temple. The man was dressed in an old fashioned way, as Alex would say. A grey pea-coat covered his red sweater, jeans were clad on his legs, and brown dress shoes were on his feet.
