"No."
"No."
"No."
The repetition of words flew through Alex's mouth, with every stroke the sketch artist drew on the paper. It was 11:12 p.m and Alex was already creating her mental plan on how to escape Central City.
Within a few hours Alex had encountered a new friend, a crazy guy who made tornado and wind, and this Berry dude. Was it Barry or Berry? Alex wasn't sure. Now Alex sat in the back of a cop car, the door open and a sketch artist trying to recreate the man Alex was describing.
"Here can I see that?" Alex asked the question, but reached over to grab the pencil, eraser, and sketch pad from the artist's lap.
Alex leaned back into the leather of the cop car and analyzed the figure of the drawn face. The nose was completely distorted and the hair was styled wrong. Alex twirled the eraser in her hand before bringing it onto the page and scribbling out the marks of graphite.
She continued draw her own version of Mardon, making sure to emphasize his features, the way she had seen it. Alex drew his floppy hair and glaring eyes- completing the drawing in no time.
"Here." Alex basically threw the notepad and drawing supplies onto the professional sketch artist's lap, "And I believe his name was Mardon."
The artist grumbled as she walked back to a group of officers. At the moment, Alex wanted nothing more then to be cuddled up in her bed, watching a soap opera, face-timing Harper, or her favorite option; reading a magazine.
"Miss Russo?" A familiar voice called out.
Alex rolled her eyes at the tone. Usually, when someone said her name in such a formal way, it usually meant she was in trouble or she had done something wrong. The wizard looked out the car door to see the man who had pointed a gun at her walking towards the cop car she was sitting in; the Barry/ pea-coat guy following behind.
Alex sunk down into the leather covered seats, "That's me."
"We would like to discuss the events that have occurred tonight." Barry spoke up, "Mind if you move over?"
An uncomfortable feeling developed in Alex's chest as she scooted over to the middle seat of the car. The sound of the car door opening on the left side of the car, brought her attention to the older detective that was entering on the other side of the car. Now surrounded, Alex turned her attention the front of the cop car. The metal grate that separated her from the front car seats were her main point of focus. She felt the two presences move into the the seats beside her and an awful silence settled upon the group of three.
"So." Alex clicked her tongue against her teeth, "Am I in trouble or anything?"
"Depends. But not really." Barry spoke up making Alex look over to him.
"Why don't we all just introduce ourselves." The man named Joe spoke up, "It will be easier to explain things from there."
"Look, "Alex turned her body towards the detective, "I'm not exactly sure what I saw, but I do know that this guy over here is a speedster or something. And that Mardon dude could control the weather or something. Plus I'm not really in the mood to introduce myself."
