"Wait so recap really quick." Alex pointed at Caitlin Snow. "This is the place where the particle thing exploded right?"

The former bio-engineer faintly smiled at the slightly younger girl. "Correct. Hence why this place looks so damaged."

"And that explosion ended giving Barry his powers. Along with tons other people in this town?"

"Correcto mundo." Cisco approved as he was crouched down, searching through one of his desk drawers.

Alex lowered her voice to a semi-whisper as she spoke. "And is that why that guy is in the wheelchair."

"Miss Russo," The familiar voice entered the room once again.

Shortly after the girl arrived, Dr. Wells led Barry out of the main office, probably leading him to another room to scold him.

"If you are going to talk bad, I suggest you do it in a quieter tone."

Cisco immediately jumped to the girl's defense, for he had already grown a friendship to the girl he had met, merely twenty minutes ago.

"She wasn't talking any bad Dr. Wells. She just had a lot of questions," The Latino boy explained. "A lot of them."

"Well, Miss. Russo," The paraplegic scientist made his way in front of the wizard. "Considering you are now part of the secret that Mr. Allen possesses we might as well commend you into a position at S.T.A.R Labs."

"I hope that, that sentence meant he doesn't hate me." Alex thought as she pretended to understand what Mr. Wells was saying.

Alex glanced over to Barry Allen with a worried glance. The speedster understood how Alex was hesitant to even get a job at the CCPD, Barry highly doubted that she wanted to work at S.T.A.R Labs.

"You're going to give her a job here?" Caitlin spoke what Barry and Alex were thinking.

The scientist turned towards his co-worker. "No, but she will be taking part of this little operation we have."

"Operation?" Alex squeaked.

Wells nodded at the sitting girl. "As you have seen Mr.Allen has the ability to run fast, faster than the speed of light even-"

"This so happened to happen only a week ago." Barry interrupted the older scientist.

A quick glare was thrown to the tall boy before he shrunk down into a ball of awkwardness.

"As I was saying," Wells began again. "Barry, along with many others have been affected by the particle accelerator, which you have probably heard of by now. And now you are now one of the only people that know of the abilities he posses."

Cisco cut in, smiling at the young girl. "In other words, welcome to Team Barry."

A strained smile stretched on Alex's face. Alex came to Central City in a desperate need to get away from magic or irregular things. Now, it seemed like the black hole containing all things irregular, was sucking her back in.
