Rap Monster

Aish prom season. I hate it. So full of couples and dates. So stressful!!

I walk down the school hallways when my friend Sarah pounces on me.

Sarah: "heyyy do you have your dress yet?"
Y/n: "you know the rules of the school. If I don't get asked, I can't go"
Sarah: "well don't worry I'm sure you'll get asked!"
Y/n: "yeah maybe"

I walk slowly away and hang my head. I really didn't think anyone would ask me. I've heard people have had crushes on me but I still doubt that anyone would ask me.

I sit through my classes until my free bell. Instead of studying, I decide to take a walk to get some fresh air. I go to the school courtyard and choose a bench to sit on. I lean back and look up at the clouds and think. I hear the sound of crumpling paper and look back down. Across the courtyard I see Namjoon (Rap Monster) scribbling down something on a notebook, looking frustrated.

I don't know him that well but he's always been kind to me so I walk over to see what he's up to.

Y/n: "hey, you okay"
RM: "oh, hey y/n" he quickly closes his notebook
Y/n: "what are you working on?"
RM: "oh it's nothing.. just some... English homework" he's obviously lying but since I don't know him well I don't ask any further questions.

I walk back to my spot, pick up my bag, and go to my next class.

After class I go back to my locker to get my phone. I open the locker and see a note fall to the the ground. I open the note and read:
Meet me in the courtyard -RM

-hmm that's weird..

I walk to the courtyard but no one is there. I see something on the bench I was sitting on earlier. I walk closer and see a single rose. I pick it up and see a small note tied to it.
For years I have loved you and for years I have dreamed of taking you to prom...

RM: "so will you go to prom with me y/n?"
He asks holding a bouquet of roses
Y/n: "I would love to"
