Jhope

I'm taking a nap when I get woken up to a phone call. I pick up:

Y/n: "hello?" I say in a sleepy voice
Jhope: "y/n?"
Y/n: "ne? What do you want?" I ask my friend Jhope
Jhope: "are you free right now?"
Y/n: "yeah why? Are you okay?"
Jhope: "oh yeah I'm fine. It's just such a gloomy and rainy day I thought we could hang out?"
Y/n: "oh yeah that sounds great! Could you just come to my house I'm too lazy to get up" I hear him laugh
Jhope: "haha okay see you soon y/n"

15 minutes later I hear my doorbell ring. I walk over in my sweatpants and sweatshirt and open the door. I see him Jhope's smiling face and see that he's carrying a big blanket and a backpack. I bring him inside and we sit back on the couch I was sleeping on. I ask:

Y/n: "what's in the backpack?" He looks at me and smiles
Jhope: "our favorite snacks. I thought we could have a movie marathon"
I get really excited. I love just chilling with Jhope. He's so easy to talk to and we always have fun.

We start watching some movies which lead to even more movies. Jhope and I sit close to eachother, cuddled under a blanket, eating all the snacks and chatting while watching.

We watch for a long time until it's dark outside. Once 10:00 pm hits we try to decide on another movie

Jhope: "what's next y/n?" He smiles at me
Y/n: "what movie genres have we not see yet?"
He scans down the list then looks a little nervous.
Jhope: "romance is the only one left" he says quietly
Y/n: "that's fine then, what you don't like romance? I jokingly nudge him. I don't know why he got nervous about it it's not like this is a date.

He just laughs it off then starts the movie. The movie was really good. Two best friends are in love with eachother but neither one knows the other loves them back so they go on with their lives without knowing and go different directions in life. It was super sweet and sad at the same.

During the movie I look over at Jhope and can see the tears sitting in his eyes. I smile knowing that my eyes are full of tears as well. I lean against him and prop my head on his shoulder. I feel him look down at me then feel his arm wrap around me and he ruffles my hair.

As we sit there together I feel something inside me. I don't know what it is. I feel warm and happy is his embrace but it's not the same as before. I think he notices the difference as well by the way his body stiffens.

The movie ends and we sit there together for a long time not saying anything, just enjoying eachother. I lean away from him and ask:

Y/n: "did you like the movie"
Jhope: "it was great. So sad though!" He swipes a tear from under his eye and laughs
Y/n: "I know. Ugh love looks hard!" I laugh
He nods then looks at me.

Y/n: "don't do that to me"
Jhope: "what? Do what?" He looks confused
Y/n: "if you ever love me just tell me" I joke with me and nudge him again.

He sits closer to me then looks into my eyes.

Jhope: "okay. I love you y/n"
