J-Hope

Sunday morning, finally. My favorite day of the week. I walk to my favorite coffee shop on the corner of the street. It's really cold outside so I put on a sweater, wool coat, and a red scarf. Once I get to the coffee shop I order a hot, chai latte. I get my phone out and scroll through my feed, reading articles and stuff. I look up when I hear my name being called by a worker:

Worker: "chai latte for y/n"
Y/n: "ah thank you" I smile and take the drink

I sit down at a table next to the window and watch the cold snowflakes fall the the ground. I daydream for a long time. I snap out of it when I hear a soft, low voice.

Stranger: "a warm chai latte, please?"
Worker: "coming right up"

He steps to the side and looks over in my direction. We make eye contact. I look away quickly and can feel my face getting warm. I turn around and look into my drink thinking about how awkward I am. Ughhhh.

I hear the stranger say: "thank you." I hear him walking closer to me. I think, please don't talk to me please don't talk to me. He sits a couple tables away, also next to the window. I glance over at him, my head still down and can see he's looking at me. I turn my eyes back to my coffee and can feel my cheeks warming up again.

He stands up and walks towards me, sitting next to me.

Stranger: "nice choice" he says and smiles
Y/n: "eh?"
Stranger: "that's my favorite drink as well" he points at my cup of coffee. I smile and laugh quietly, not knowing what to say next
Stranger: "I'm Jung Hoseok, everyone calls me J-Hope."
Y/n: "nice to meet you, I'm y/n"
Jhope: "pretty name. Nice to meet you too" he smiles at me. His smile takes my breath away.

We watch out the window together and chat about anything that popped into our heads. It's so easy to talk to him I feel like I've known him for years.

Jhope: "would you like to take a walk with me?"
Y/n: "sure!"
He holds the door of the coffee shop open for me and we begin walking down the sidewalk. We walk and talk for hours. I start to feel really cold and my teeth start to unintentionally chatter. Jhope looks at me and says worriedly,

Jhope: "oh y/n I'm sorry I kept you out here too long!"  He wraps his arm around me and pulls me into a warm bookstore
Jhope: "better?" I smile and nod. He looks into my eyes and something looks different than before.

Y/n: "what?" I ask him. He sweetly smiles at me and quietly says
Jhope: "I've had a lot of fun with you today y/n and I'm just going to say this and I'm sorry if it's too forward"

I wait quietly for him to tell me
Jhope: "I like you y/n. I really do and I hope that I can see you again soon." He nervously smiles and waits for my reply.

I lean towards him and lightly kiss him on the cheek and smile. His face lights up and he kisses me sweetly.
